The good and the bad
We were told to meet 15 minutes early for our 10am tour. At 8:00 the morning of the tour we were told we had to be there at 930am. It was a real rush to try to make it there from our cruise ship with the short notice of the change. Got several texts from them pushing that we get there by 930am. We met up with our guide Hans. He was great! It was very hot and he offered to use an air conditioned car instead of the buggy, which we really appreciated. The glass boat ride was not good for us. We are older and it was very difficult to get into and out of the boat, no steps, just climb up seats and onto the dock. We didn't snorkel because you had to jump out of the boat instead of climb down steps. Not many fish to see and the snorkeling was close to the pier, not out where there would be fish. We got back to the office of the excursion and bathroom was closed. I had to pay to use the bathroom next door to change clothes. Not a very good experience. Would not recommend or do again! Next part of the tour we went to the Mayan center. Was small and a short ritual was performed showing Mayan dancing and Photo taken. Was neat but for the price to get into the place, not really worth it. We went to a chocolate and honey tasting spot. That was nice. Tequila tasting was another spot you could do but we chose not to. We were taken to a table and an older lady brought us tortilla with chicken. tasted good but very small portion and nothing to drink. Hans took us down a path to a pool area with a water fall. It was pretty. Be warned that every one of these "stops" you are expected to tip. We were given an option of buying our photo in a frame for $40.00. I talked him down to $25. Next we toured the island and were given lots of info from Hans then to the other side for a lunch San Martin beach restaurant. Lunch was ok and included in the price but you were expected to purchase your drink (water). Hans had water for us at every stop so we didn't have to buy water. He offered to take up to shop, but it was getting late and we were ready to go back to the ship. He dropped us off as close as he could. He even got my messenger address and sent me pics that he took of us- no charge! Was not real impressed with the actual tour choice but really impressed with our guide. He as wonderful.

Totally worth it
Our guide Arturo was excellent. The clear boat and snorkeling experice was fun and just the right duration. The lunch was delicious with the most beautiful view. Arturo took his time to show us around the island and even let us shop for sometime. Highly recommend this tour.

Claudio is amazing!!
We had such a fun day! Claudio was on time and was detailed throughout the day. He was happy to accommodate my wife's shoulder injury by trading out the buggy for a jeep she could easily enter and exit. He also was very knowledgeable about the island and we learned a lot. Beautiful pics from the glass bottom boat, and the Mayan fire dancing, and the dinner overlooking the beach included the best fish fajitas we've ever had. Overall, a great day and well worth the money!!!

Exploring Cozumel
My husband and I had a wonderful experience. Our guide was Claudio. He was very knowledgeable and fun to hang around with. We had to change plans when the morning boat ride was delayed until the afternoon but we then proceeded to the Mayan Experience. It was a lot of fun. The tastings were delicious. Claudio was very attentive and helpful. Lunch at San Martin was both filling and tasteful. Due to wave conditions, the boat ride was canceled and a reschedjule was offered but we had had such a fun filled day that we decided to end our excursion early. It was a lovely day with a wonderful guide.
