    Not just a walking tour!

Grazi was fantastic! She showed us both mediaval and recent history, life in Malmo, how locals live. She brought everything to life for us. She seamlessly adjusted the route to address our interest and questions. Her love for her city made us love the city too.

    Do you play Candy Crush?

We loved our day trip to Malmo. The weather was terrible, but our tour guide Grazi's spirits triumphed over the weather. She was amazing - friendly and helpful (we had to buy a new pair of boots, and she took us to a great place). Most of all, she was an incredible font of knowledge about the history of Sweden and the city of Malmo. She knows the city like the back of her hand. We used public transportation to get to places (and if you are from the USA, you will envy the city's bus system). She took us to get delicious Swedish meatballs for lunch and to a historic and charming cafe for fika in the afternoon. I cannot recommend her more highly. P.S. One of the things she told us is that Malmo has a very important game economy and where Candy Crush was developed!

    A wonderful day in Malmo.

We had a wonderful day, Grazi was very informative and detailed but at the same time making everything fun. She catered for our every need and went above and beyond what I expected, even giving us details for a day exploring Copenhagen the next day ourselves. A very warm and friendly lady.

    Grazi is wonderful!

Grazi is everything you want in a tour guide! She not only showed me all kinds of sights - including places locals go to - she also has a deep knowledge of the history of Scandinavia. We talked a lot about Scandinavian people, culture and current events, which I really appreciated. While she had certain things she wanted to show me, she was flexible and let me lead when there were things that caught my eye. Grazi is upbeat, super easy to talk with and has had a very interesting life. We had a great time together, and if I lived here, she’d be someone I’d want to hang out with. I highly recommend booking with Grazi.

    Fabulous Day In Malmo

Grazi was a fabulous guide. A very nice person. She met me at my hotel, since it was a short walk to the train station. She lives in Malmo so she is very knowledgeable about the city and its history, which she explained without unnecessary detail. Just the highlights. We had a wonderful lunch at an authentic Swedish restaurant and I had the meatballs, which were delicious. Malmo is beautiful and definitely worth the excursion.

City Explorer: Malmo Private Day Trip: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Copenhagen.

How much does City Explorer: Malmo Private Day Trip cost?

    +

Prices start at $92 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Copenhagen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does City Explorer: Malmo Private Day Trip take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Copenhagen is not rushed.

Is City Explorer: Malmo Private Day Trip worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Copenhagen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule City Explorer: Malmo Private Day Trip?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is City Explorer: Malmo Private Day Trip suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book City Explorer: Malmo Private Day Trip?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Copenhagen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Copenhagen and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does City Explorer: Malmo Private Day Trip start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Copenhagen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Copenhagen?

    +

On Outty we rank every Copenhagen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Grand Day Trip around Copenhagen, Copenhagen Walking Tour: Politically Incorrect Intro, Social Sailing - Copenhagen Canal Tour - Captain's Favorite. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Copenhagen?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Copenhagen?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
