Successful Macarons for my Birthday!
Nay and Zoar were absolutely great! My husband Ryan and I took the Macaron class and they turned out perfect! Nay made us feel confident and was an incredible teacher. Zoar also gave us great recommendations for flavors at home! They both made my birthday absolutely incredible! Highly recommend taking the class.

Tasty and fun
This was a great hands-on experience! We were a little nervous about how the macarons would turn out, but they worked perfectly! The directions and steps were clear to follow, and we talked about how we could try different flavor combinations at home. We even bought some of the cocoa powder they used in the class to make sure our homemade ones have the best chocolate tasta
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Emily, for your great review! We are glad you enjoyed our chocolate macarons workshop with Ney. We hope to see you again at ChocoMuseo Puerto Vallarta, maybe for a chocolate éclairs workshop.

Wonderful indoor activity for families
If you are looking for an indoor activity in PV — the cooking classes at the ChocoMuseo are wonderful! This was our family’s second class, and it was one of the highlights of the trip. The instructor was great - very patient with our 10 & 12 year olds who were taking the class), and made the recipe look easyWe ended up making plenty of delicious macarons to last us for the rest of the vacation. The location of the ChocoMuseo is also excellent — right off the Malecon, with ocean views in the class area upstairs. We will definitely come back for another class on our next visit!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much, Ethan, for taking the time to write this fantastic review! Your words mean a lot to us. Have a great day!

Another GREAT ChocoMuseo experience.
Another GREAT experience at the ChocoMuseo. This was our 4th cooking workshop and it was probably the best one so far. I have made macarons a few times before but Ney, the presenter, was excellent and I learned a few tricks I will use when I get home. (BTW, Ney led the eclair workshop we did last summer and is nice to be remembered.). She took us step by step through the entire process, first demonstrating and the letting us complete the task. The end results were some of the best macarons I’ve ever made… beautiful to look at and great flavor and texture. And one great thing was being able to take all of it home with us along with the recipe. Ney took the time to hand write another recipe for the filling that I will certainly try. Outstanding experience and I hope they have a new one for when we return on our next trip!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Dan, for your great review! Your words mean a lot to us. We are happy you enjoyed our chocolate macarons workshop with Ney. Let's see if we can offer a new workshop for the next time you come 😉

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Chocolate Macarons Workshop in Puerto Vallarta: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Puerto Vallarta.
How much does Chocolate Macarons Workshop in Puerto Vallarta cost?
+
Prices start at $88 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Puerto Vallarta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Chocolate Macarons Workshop in Puerto Vallarta take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Puerto Vallarta is not rushed.
Is Chocolate Macarons Workshop in Puerto Vallarta worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Puerto Vallarta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Chocolate Macarons Workshop in Puerto Vallarta?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Chocolate Macarons Workshop in Puerto Vallarta suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Chocolate Macarons Workshop in Puerto Vallarta?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Puerto Vallarta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Puerto Vallarta and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Chocolate Macarons Workshop in Puerto Vallarta start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Puerto Vallarta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Puerto Vallarta?
+
On Outty we rank every Puerto Vallarta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Winner 2026 Downtown Vallarta Food Tour with Vallarta Food Tours, Signature Taco Tour in PV with Vallarta Eats, Food & Mixology Tour:Tequila,Tacos, Mezcal and Agave Cocktails. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Puerto Vallarta?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Puerto Vallarta?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
