Amazing Chitwan experience!

Dipson from Vyas Treks Nepal provided timely, responsive, and helpful communication from start till the end. As a solo female traveller, I really appreciated this quality of service. The hotel was more than what I expected -- the place was beautiful, with good amenities, the room was spacious and clean, the food was delicious and had a wide selection, and the service was warm, friendly and superb. The activities were great - the canoe ride was nice and peaceful; the guide and the canoe guy pointed out birds and crocs as we glided along the river. The highlight for me was seeing a total of 5 rhinos, and, unexpectedly seeing one of them up close. I strongly recommend this tour with this activity provider.

Response from the operator: "Exceptional Solo Travel Experience with Vyas Treks Nepal - Highly Recommended!" Dipson from Vyas Treks Nepal provided excellent service, offering timely, responsive, and helpful communication from start to finish. As a solo female traveler, I truly appreciated this level of attention and support throughout the entire journey. The hotel exceeded my expectations with its beautiful setting, spacious and clean rooms, great amenities, and delicious food with a wide variety of options. The service was warm, friendly, and truly exceptional. The activities were just as impressive. The canoe ride was peaceful and enjoyable, and the guide, along with the canoe operator, pointed out local wildlife like birds and crocodiles as we glided along the river. The highlight of the tour for me was seeing five rhinos in total, with one of them unexpectedly coming up very close, which was an unforgettable experience! I highly recommend this tour and activity provider for anyone looking for a seamless and memorable experience in Nepal, especially solo travelers looking for a safe and well-organized adventure.

Best adventure agency in Kathmandu.

Loved the tour. Besides the chitwan tour the guy took care of rest of the things like bus booking and for our hostel in pokhra as well. If you are in Kathmandu, do visit him.He is a local guy and I think have many contacts with adventure activities as well.

Chitwan National Park Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Chitwan National Park Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $144 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Chitwan National Park Tour take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Chitwan National Park Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Chitwan National Park Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Chitwan National Park Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Chitwan National Park Tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Chitwan National Park Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
