1. Cancun

   Your day begins in the morning as you board our comfortable transportation at check-in. While we welcome fellow travelers and complete the boarding process, it may take a few moments, giving everyone time to settle in before the adventure begins. Once the group is ready, we’ll head toward the legendary Chichén Itzá. Since the journey is approximately three hours, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy the ride, and build excitement for what lies ahead. Get comfortable, take in the moment, and prepare for an incredible experience as you travel toward one of Mexico’s most iconic archaeological treasures.

2. Chichen Itza

   As we get closer to Chichén Itzá, we’ll make a short stop at nearby points of interest before continuing to the archaeological zone. You’ll also enjoy a buffet lunch at a nearby restaurant located close to the cenote. Taste a selection of regional specialties and traditional Mexican dishes. Upon arrival, we’ll leave the bus and take a brief walk to the main entrance of this world-famous site. Our guides will stay with the group. Once inside, you’ll take part in a 1-hour guided visit led by our knowledgeable team. During the tour, you’ll discover the history behind this extraordinary ancient city, hear remarkable stories, clear up common misconceptions, and gain insight into daily life during the height of the Mayan civilization. After the guided portion, you’ll have 1 hour of free time to explore on your own. Use this time to take photos, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy a cold drink or light snack. Before the free time begins, the guide will provide the meeting point and return time.

3. Cenote Saamal

   As part of this memorable journey, you’ll visit an authentic Mayan cenote, a remarkable natural wonder once considered sacred by the ancient Maya and deeply connected to their spiritual world. Known for their clear, cool waters, these cenotes remain one of the most refreshing and unique experiences in the Yucatán Peninsula. The drive to the cenote takes approximately 45 minutes. Bring your swimsuit and get ready for a refreshing swim. You’ll have around 1 hour to enjoy the cenote, relax in its crystal-clear waters, and take in the natural beauty of this special place.

4. Valladolid

   To round out this cultural experience, we’ll visit the beautiful colonial town of Valladolid, Yucatán, a destination celebrated for its colorful streets, relaxed atmosphere, and rich local heritage. With its charming architecture and authentic character, Valladolid offers a wonderful look at everyday life in the region. During our stop of approximately 30 to 45 minutes, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace. Walk through its scenic streets, take memorable photos, and enjoy the unique charm and local ambiance that make this town so special.

5. At the end of your time in Valladolid, your guide will share the exact meeting time for boarding the bus. Once the group is together again, we’ll begin the return journey to Cancun and the Riviera Maya. The drive back takes approximately three hours, giving you time to rest, get comfortable, and look back on a day filled with history, culture, and unforgettable moments. Relax in our comfortable transportation and enjoy a peaceful ride after a full day of exploring. By the end of the tour, you’ll head back with lasting memories of visiting Chichén Itzá, swimming in a sacred cenote, and discovering the cultural charm of Yucatán.

Know before you go

• Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
• Public transportation options are available nearby
• Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• Traveling with luggage is only possible when the transportation vehicle assigned to your reservation has sufficient storage space and our operations team approves it beforehand. If you need to bring suitcases or other large belongings, contact us before the excursion so we can review the transportation assigned to your service. Vehicle capacity is limited, and luggage acceptance cannot be guaranteed.
• Beginning April 21, 2026, archaeological sites in Mexico have applied security measures restricting visitors from entering with backpacks and luggage. For this reason, we recommend bringing only what is necessary for the visit, ideally items that can be carried in pockets or in a small personal bag. Certain exceptions may be considered, including diaper bags, but admission of any item remains entirely at the discretion of the archaeological site's security personnel. We cannot assume responsibility for belongings denied at the entrance. During this particular excursion, travelers may leave personal items inside the transportation vehicle while completing the scheduled visits.
• Once the group has left the vehicle at a tour stop, passengers may re-enter only when the guide or staff announces the official boarding time. Guests cannot return to the vehicle early or remain inside while the rest of the group completes a visit. Other passengers may have left personal belongings in the vehicle, so this rule is enforced to maintain security and protect everyone's property.
• The operations team determines which bus or minibus is used and how passengers are distributed according to availability and the logistical requirements of the day. A particular vehicle, brand, unit, or seat cannot be selected online, requested upon arrival, or reserved directly with staff. We will always try to provide a comfortable transportation experience, but exact seating positions and placement in a specific vehicle cannot be held or guaranteed.
• If friends, relatives, or members of the same group booked under different reservations and would like to travel in the same vehicle, please notify us in advance. When everyone is being collected from the same accommodation, we will try to place the reservations together, although this remains subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. If the travelers are staying at different hotels within the same city, coordination may still be attempted, but riding together is not assured. When reservations originate in different cities, it is not possible to coordinate them in the same transportation unit.
• Participation must begin within one of the cities or geographic areas specifically listed in the Transportation section. Guests cannot independently meet the group at Chichen Itza, at another attraction included in the itinerary, or at any location outside the authorized pickup zones. For example, driving independently to Chichen Itza and attempting to join the group there is not permitted. Pickup from an accommodation located within the authorized service area, such as Moon Palace resort, may be possible depending on the applicable transportation conditions. For operational coordination, safety, and communication purposes, every participant must meet the team at the assigned morning pickup point, board the official transportation, and complete the required check-in process before the excursion begins.
• If your reservation does not yet contain a confirmed hotel or designated meeting location, you must send this information no later than the applicable cutoff on the day before the tour. Monday through Saturday: 9:50 PM / 21:50 hrs (GMT-5). Sunday: 8:00 PM / 20:00 hrs (GMT-5). The information may be provided through any available contact channel. Once the deadline has passed, new last-minute pickup arrangements can no longer be added to the transportation operation. If the required hotel or meeting-point information is not received on time, the reservation will automatically be transferred to the next available date. This automatic change is made without an additional fee or rescheduling penalty. However, once the reservation has been moved under this policy, it will no longer be eligible for a refund.
• The durations shown for each itinerary section represent the complete operating segment rather than only the amount of time physically spent inside an attraction. Depending on the segment, the stated duration may include transportation to the location, the scheduled visit or activity, group organization, boarding, and the time required to continue toward the next stop or begin the return route. Please review the itinerary description for the approximate distribution of time throughout the experience.
• Our team works to keep the tour as close as possible to the planned itinerary. However, the schedule is influenced by several factors, including morning pickup punctuality, travelers returning to the vehicle at the time established by the guide, and road or traffic conditions beyond our control. Please be ready at the assigned morning pickup time and carefully follow the meeting times communicated at every stop. Even a delay of only a minute can accumulate when repeated throughout the route and may eventually affect a considerable portion of the day's schedule and the experience of the rest of the group.
• The box lunch provided with this excursion is a fixed meal. It forms part of the standard service and cannot be modified or substituted to accommodate special diets, food restrictions, or personal meal preferences.
• This tour includes a considerable amount of walking. Comfortable footwear and clothing suitable for spending the day walking and visiting the different locations are recommended.
• A regional Mexican buffet is also included during the excursion. Travelers may choose freely from the dishes available on the buffet. Vegetarian selections are offered; however, at this time the buffet cannot be specifically modified or prepared according to other individual dietary regimes.
