    Fun filled day with family

Had a great time, Roberto was knowledgeable and quite funny and the experience was pretty nice. Loved swimming in the chilly cenote water after the heat in Chichen Itza! Highly recommend!

    A MUST on your vacation!

Amazing experience! Not only were the sites beautiful and rich with history and culture, our tour guides Victor and Ernest were very accommodating, as well as their driver Enrique! We were kept hydrated and the food was delicious! I appreciated getting to learn so much about not just the Mayans of history, but the Mayans here now! Be prepared to walk and stand a lot at Chichinituza, but there are benches with tree cover all around the site if you need a break.

Response from the operator: Hi alithealikat! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your comment, we’re delighted that you enjoyed the tour, our service and our team. Hope to see you again soon!

    This is the tour company!!

Victor and Nestor were AMAZING!! The bus ride up was filled with so much fun. It’s a long drive and it went by so fast. I wish the cenote part of the trip was longer but putting it at the beginning instead of the end was a good call with crowds. We didn’t, but a lot of people wore their suits to the cenote and changed after. The travel booker from our resort didn’t tell us to do that! I’m telling you!!! Victor was our tour guide for the pyramid grounds and he had so much information along with visual aids. I knew a lot coming in but victor was schooling me on some things I didn’t know. The lunch stop was sooo good. Once in a life time trip for our little family and these guys made it so incredibly special!!!

Response from the operator: Hi russellpS6285SO! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your comment, we’re delighted that you enjoyed the tour, our service and our team. Hope to see you again soon!

Well planned itinerary and wonderful guide

David was a wonderful tour guide who explained everything perfectly in Spanish and English. He was funny and kept the energy of the group up throughout the long day. The itinerary was planned really well and we were given just the right amount of time to enjoy each location.

Response from the operator: Hi lorettasees! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your comment, we’re delighted that you enjoyed the tour, our service and our team. Hope to see you again soon!

Chichen Itza, 2 Cenotes & Valladolid Tour from Riviera Maya: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.

How much does Chichen Itza, 2 Cenotes & Valladolid Tour from Riviera Maya cost?

    +

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Chichen Itza, 2 Cenotes & Valladolid Tour from Riviera Maya take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.

Is Chichen Itza, 2 Cenotes & Valladolid Tour from Riviera Maya worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Chichen Itza, 2 Cenotes & Valladolid Tour from Riviera Maya?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Chichen Itza, 2 Cenotes & Valladolid Tour from Riviera Maya suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Chichen Itza, 2 Cenotes & Valladolid Tour from Riviera Maya?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Chichen Itza, 2 Cenotes & Valladolid Tour from Riviera Maya start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tulum?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Chichen Itza from Playa with cenote, Valladolid and Mayan cuisine, Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Selva Maya Eco Adventure Park: Ziplining, Hanging Bridges, Rappelling and Cenote. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tulum?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tulum?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
