Multiple Tours of Adventure

My husband and I had an awesome time with Eli. At first, we booked through Viator for a private tour, but we didn't know it was going to be Eli until after we booked. After we met him and shared a great time going to the Coba Ruins first, we then decided to book another tour which was Sian Ka'an. After that we then booked another tour to Cenotes and Then Chichen Itza and the wild Monkey Tour. Each tour was unique and special. We booked the rest of our tours through their website. Eli and his business partner are flexible and make magic happen. Thank you so much to Eli and his business partner for making our honeymoon unforgettable. Thank you, Eli, for all the laughs. We will miss you! Big Tip!: if you want to do Chichen Itza, schedule to leave around 6:45, that way you can get there before it floods of people and you won't get hounded by the people who sell souvenirs as they will be just getting settled/setting up while you are about to leave the site. The earlier the better the pictures since there won't be many people around.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your feedback! We are happy to hear you had a great honeymoon and we hope to see you again!!

Another amazing private tour with Eli!

This was our second tour with Eli and he was amazing as ever! Eli has it all! A great sense of humor, great conversation, and a whole lot of knowledge about the history of the area! Eli provided a fun and educational day at Chichen Itza in a small private tour which is much better than one of those large tours with too many people on them. We can't wait to get back to the Yucatan and have Eli take us on another amazing adventure! Go on book a tour, you won't regret it!

Response from the operator: Hi Nathan, Thank you so much for your review, it was great to see you again! I hope to see you next time!

AMAZING

Was amazing. Eli was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain the culture and history in amazing detail. We really enjoyed our trip and will do more with Yucatan Eli's again.

Response from the operator: We appreciate your review very much! Chichén Itzá is an amazing place to visit, we are glad you enjoyed your tour there with us. We hope to see you again!

Ahead of time

I had the pleasure of visiting Chichen Itza and learning about the Mayans and their history. Their games, alphabet, counting system, they were Mathematical geniuses. How their chose the name and profession of their citizens was mind boggling. I left thankful for the beautiful history lesson, thoroughly in awe of the Mayans and their structures and wishing I could have learned their language. We only recognize how much we need to cherish people and things when they are gone.

Response from the operator: Hola, Thank you for taking the time to review us! We are happy you had such a great time at Chichén Itzá, it is an amazing place. We hope to see you again. Thank you!

Chichén Itzá Adventure (Private, Full Day): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.

How much does Chichén Itzá Adventure (Private, Full Day) cost?

+

Prices start at $284 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Chichén Itzá Adventure (Private, Full Day) take?

+

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.

Is Chichén Itzá Adventure (Private, Full Day) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Chichén Itzá Adventure (Private, Full Day)?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Chichén Itzá Adventure (Private, Full Day) suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 9-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Chichén Itzá Adventure (Private, Full Day)?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Chichén Itzá Adventure (Private, Full Day) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tulum?

+

On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tulum?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tulum?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
