10 out of 10
10 out of 10. Would recommend. Every time you go to a Chicago. The Segways are sooooo fun to ride. My 13 year old daughter was very cautious at first but mastered it quickly. My 17 year took to it immediately. Party Marty, our tour guide was excellent. He was funny, charismatic, and very knowledgeable about the area. He also takes incredible pictures and videos. The tour takes you through multiple downtown waterfront parks, and the views of the skyline are incredible.

Chicago Style Party with Marty!
What an amazing tour! If you like to learn about the history and fun facts then Marty is your guide. He talked with us like friends and not like a bored tour guide. We learned about him growing up in Chicago and his experiences in the city. He took great care of us in the crowds, had so much knowledge of history and fun stories that kept us entertained and learning. Highly recommend the experience. I’m 54 and was a little concern about the Segway, but Marty did an amazing job making me feel capable. And once you get going, it gets simple. Great way to get around the city and see a lot of the area and get history and background.

72, first- timer, Loved it!!
72 yrs old, First time ever and loved it. What a fun experience. Matt showed us a really nice time. He was qick but patient to get all of us in the know of how to use the segway (we were all first- timers). Then off we went, all without any problems. We recommend Bike and Roll. Thanks so much.

Chicago Sunset Segway Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chicago.
How much does Chicago Sunset Segway Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chicago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Chicago Sunset Segway Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chicago is not rushed.
Is Chicago Sunset Segway Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Chicago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Chicago Sunset Segway Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Chicago Sunset Segway Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Chicago Sunset Segway Tour?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chicago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chicago and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Chicago Sunset Segway Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chicago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chicago?
+
Chicago's signature experience is still the architecture boat cruise, and the difference between the docent-led originals and the party-boat imitators is the single biggest quality gap in the city. Beyond the river: gangster history walks, Art Institute access, deep-dish and hot-dog crawls, and skydeck timed entry. Outty Ranking leans on guide credentials and how consistently the promised route runs. On Outty we rank every Chicago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Original Chicago Architecture Interiors Tour: Dazzling Interiors, Chicago Favorites Ultimate Food and Walking Tour, Chicago Murder Mystery Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chicago?
+
May to October. Winter cruises stop running when the river ices. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chicago?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Chicago Sunset Segway Tour?
+
Included: Local guide; and Use of helmet. Not included: Gratuities; Hotel pickup and drop-off; and Food and drinks. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Where is the meeting point for Chicago Sunset Segway Tour?
+
Departure Point: Millennium Park Address: Bike and Roll Chicago 34 South Michigan Ave. Chicago IL 60601 Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.
What languages is Chicago Sunset Segway Tour offered in?
+

+

+
The operator notes: Not recommended for pregnant travelers; and Pregnant women are not allowed to ride. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
