Smooth Sailing with The Water Taxi

Charleston Water Taxi with Children
Iris and Ree were so friendly and welcoming, we had them on every leg of our water taxi adventure. Great views and stops. Would recommend better instructions on where to pick up water taxi behind the Charleston Harbor hotel. I like that out tickets had all the pickup times on the back.

Harbor cruise on a budget!
We were there with Captain Kevin, Amy, & Charley. Couldn’t speak higher of them, they were all great hosts and wonderful to be around. We’re locals and bought the day pass as an opportunity to be on the water for the afternoon. We brought a cooler and some snacks and stuck around for 4 “loops”, saw the sunset, and dolphins. It’s almost too good to be true and don’t want too many people spoiling a good thing-but this deserved a review!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mount Pleasant.
How much does Charleston Water Taxi Cruise with Dolphin Sighting cost?

How long does Charleston Water Taxi Cruise with Dolphin Sighting take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mount Pleasant is not rushed.
Is Charleston Water Taxi Cruise with Dolphin Sighting worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 1,096 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Mount Pleasant, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Charleston Water Taxi Cruise with Dolphin Sighting?
+

Is Charleston Water Taxi Cruise with Dolphin Sighting suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Charleston Water Taxi Cruise with Dolphin Sighting?
+
Around 384 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mount Pleasant can sell out a month out. What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mount Pleasant and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
