Lovely day
It is very much as billed and is a France Tourism trip (we booked with Viator) No hotel pick up Minivan (so no more than six) Good guide Does all the things it promises
Response from the operator: Bonjour, Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that the excursion met your expectations and delivered exactly what was promised. It is also great to know that you appreciated traveling in a small minivan group, which offers a more personal and comfortable experience, as well as the professionalism of your guide. We always strive to provide clear information before booking so that our guests know exactly what to expect, and your feedback means a great deal to us. We hope to welcome you again soon, perhaps on our excursion to Bruges or during a guided tour of the Louvre Museum. Kind regards, Alice de France Tourisme

Champagne revealed
This is a full day and most excellent. Check out the stained glass windows. The modern ones were blown out in WWI. The tour of Champagne region. The story of the limestone contribution is excellent. The tour ended in Hautvillers, the place where Dom Perignon lived and worked. He didn’t invent champagne, he improved the method. Brits were making sparkling wine at least 30 years earlier. But, it’s a good story.
Response from the operator: Dear Aaron, Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We are delighted to know that you enjoyed every moment of your Champagne journey — from admiring the stained-glass windows in Reims to exploring the limestone cellars and discovering Hautvillers, home of Dom Pérignon. It is a joy for us to share these stories and experiences with travelers like you. At France Tourisme, our greatest pleasure is to create meaningful and memorable moments, whether it’s a sparkling day in Champagne or a cultural escape in another part of France. If you wish to continue exploring, we would be delighted to welcome you on our Loire Valley Castles day trip or a relaxing Seine river dinner cruise with breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower — two very special experiences that combine history, culture, and a touch of Parisian magic. We hope to see you again soon for another unforgettable adventure! Warm regards, Alice de France Tourisme

Wonderful
Guide was awesome. Only 5 of us and we really had fun. Deviated a bit and the 5 of us sat for lunch together. It was so nice to talk with others from different places.

A "Mummless" Tour
Harry, our guide, was quite personable, energetic and enjoyable. However, we were surprised (and totally disappointed) when we did not tour the actual Maison Mumm Reims Cellars. The tour details stated, " . . . visit Mumm's Champagne cellars and learn about the harvesting and production process . . . ." If you are booking this adventure, simply be aware that (even though the tour mentions Mumm) you are not visiting the original Mumm Reims Cellars. We actually had a pleasant tour of just one of their 25 kilometers of small cellars (see photo) . . . Silly us, for ASSuming that we'd actually visit the historic bubbly site. Also be forewarned: Do not book your tour for a Sunday. Reims Cathedral is not fully accessible on days of worship. On a positive note: The visit to the Lighthouse of Verzenay was enjoyable, educational, and offered beautiful views of the many vineyards throughout the valley.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Lin for your feedback. We are sorry your experience didn't match your expectations and we appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. The Mumm cellars visit is usually included in this tour but it seems it was unavailable that day which is why we chose the smaller cellar option. We will make sure to specify it if it happens again. We are glad to know you were still able to have a good time there and enjoyed our guide's company during the tour. Thanks again for your feedback! Have a lovely day, Christophe from France Tourisme

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Champagne Day Trip from Paris with 4 Tastings, Reims & Cellars: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.
How much does Champagne Day Trip from Paris with 4 Tastings, Reims & Cellars cost?
+
Prices start at $165 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Champagne Day Trip from Paris with 4 Tastings, Reims & Cellars take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.
Is Champagne Day Trip from Paris with 4 Tastings, Reims & Cellars worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Champagne Day Trip from Paris with 4 Tastings, Reims & Cellars?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Champagne Day Trip from Paris with 4 Tastings, Reims & Cellars suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Champagne Day Trip from Paris with 4 Tastings, Reims & Cellars?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Champagne Day Trip from Paris with 4 Tastings, Reims & Cellars start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paris?
+
Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paris?
+
April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paris?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
