Best tour company with amazing guide.
This excursion was the best. They picked us up from our hotel in a nice, air conditioned van. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and pointed out things on our drive out to the destination. When we got there we started with zip lining. First you walk through part of the jungle where you can see some birds and animals in the trees. Then we went through 4 different zip lines through the jungle and over a few rivers. The 2 zip line guides were great and made sure we always felt safe, secure and knew exactly what to do. Zip lining was absolutely a must do experience in Belize. Then after zip lining we went cave tubing. We walked through the jungle walking through a few rivers. It's an easy and enjoyable hike with our guide pointing out certain things and telling us about the history. We paid $5 to have someone take our tubes which I recommend so that you can just enjoy the jungle walking. Then we went cave tubing and our guide was absolutely amazing. This experience is really cool and we were able to see stalagmites, waterfalls, bats, and old mayan pottery. After the cave, we were able to float along the river and even swam a bit. Then we were served a yummy lunch before getting changed and headed back. There are clean restrooms and changing rooms with a spray hose to rinse off. This was an incredible excursion and this tour company is probably the best of Belize.

An exciting and interesting tour for all ages
We had a great time. The ziplining was very safe and well organised , and we enjoyed zipping over the jungle and river. After a simple but tasty Belizean lunch, we went tubing through on an underground river with glittering stalagtites and stalagmites. Our knowledgeable guide Bern told us about Mayan culture and showed us pottery in the caves left from Mayan sacrifices. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Amanda, for sharing your experience! We’re really glad to hear you had such a great time on the cave tubing and jungle ziplining tour. It’s wonderful that you enjoyed both activities — the ziplining through the jungle canopy and the underground river tubing with its incredible cave formations truly make for a unique Belize adventure. We’re especially happy to hear Bern helped bring the experience to life with his knowledge of Mayan history and culture. He takes great pride in sharing those stories in a way that connects guests to the sites you’re exploring. We also appreciate you highlighting the organization, safety, and lunch along the way — those details matter to us in making sure the full day runs smoothly and comfortably. Great time in the Belize jungle
Our family had a great day in the natural beauty of the Belize jungle. We did the combo of the zip lining first and then the cave tubing. The zip lining was a lot of fun, a few longer and faster lines over the river which was really nice. The cave tubing involved a 3-4 mile hike through the forest carrying our tube float and then had a nice float down the river through the forest and some caves. Our guide Steven was really helpful. Thank you for a great day.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re thrilled to hear your family had such a great day exploring the beauty of the Belize jungle. It sounds like you experienced the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation—so glad you enjoyed the zip lining (especially those longer lines over the river!) and the scenic cave tubing journey. The hike is definitely part of the adventure, and we’re happy it added to the overall experience for you. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to Steven—he’ll be delighted to know he made your day even more enjoyable. Thanks again for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back for another Belize adventure in the future!

Why this scores 80
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cave Tubing and Jungle Zip Lining Through Belize: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Ignacio.
How much does Cave Tubing and Jungle Zip Lining Through Belize cost?
+
Prices start at $165 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Ignacio usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cave Tubing and Jungle Zip Lining Through Belize take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Ignacio is not rushed.
Is Cave Tubing and Jungle Zip Lining Through Belize worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 113 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in San Ignacio, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cave Tubing and Jungle Zip Lining Through Belize?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cave Tubing and Jungle Zip Lining Through Belize suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cave Tubing and Jungle Zip Lining Through Belize?
+
Around 40 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Ignacio can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Ignacio and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cave Tubing and Jungle Zip Lining Through Belize start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Ignacio within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in San Ignacio?
+
On Outty we rank every San Ignacio experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave Tour and Picnic, Xunantunich and Cave Tubing Combo Tour from San Ignacio, Tikal SUNSET, Archeological focus and Wildlife Spotting Tour (South and East). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit San Ignacio?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in San Ignacio?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
