Sacred Valley Tour - private tour

Juan Carlos is one of the most knowledgeable, kind, and exciting people I have ever met. He brought us to really great spots, and focused on avoiding the larger crowds. Overall great experience and definitely recommend.

Great Tour and Guide

My family and I booked a day tour of Cusco and the surrounding area. Juan Carlos was our Guide. He was great! He is from Cusco and has in-depth knowledge of the area, Machu Picchu, and Rainbow Mountain. His English was excellent and had all the right personal touches like great options for lunch and coffee. The tour van was comfortable and clean. I give the day a 10 / 10.

Great experience

We had a wonderful experience in general with Libertek as we booked several tours with them as well as this private sacred valley tour. Juan Carlos was an excellent guide who made the tour really personal to us by stopping at lookout points when we asked, tailoring lunch recommendations, and the spots that he showed us. He has incredible knowledge about the Incan people and sacred valley. We had a great time and would recommend this tour to anyone!

Sacred Valley private tour

Our guide (Juan Carlos) was very helpful, witty, knowledgeable and experienced. He accomodated us when we had special requests, very courteous and respectful. No unexpected surprises as everything was well explained. We really enjoyed our tour, the views were breathtaking and we did it at our own pace. We learned a lot from our guide. We would highly recommend him and this tour to all our friends

I recommend the private tour of the sacred valley especially with the guide JUAN CARLOS LIMA, the knowledge of the area, the history is spectacular and the form and passion he has in explaining it only shows how much he loves his profession and country, he took us to incredible places and took spectacular photos and videos, he had a lot of patience at every stop, my husband and I are very grateful that he was our guide 🦙❤️🇵🇪

Car and Driver to the sacred Valley of Cusco (Private transport for your family): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does Car and Driver to the sacred Valley of Cusco (Private transport for your family) cost?

+

Prices start at $170 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Car and Driver to the sacred Valley of Cusco (Private transport for your family) take?

+

Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is Car and Driver to the sacred Valley of Cusco (Private transport for your family) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Car and Driver to the sacred Valley of Cusco (Private transport for your family)?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Car and Driver to the sacred Valley of Cusco (Private transport for your family) suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 24-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Car and Driver to the sacred Valley of Cusco (Private transport for your family)?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Car and Driver to the sacred Valley of Cusco (Private transport for your family) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

+

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
