About this experience
The excursion starts from Positano. Marina Grande is the main beach of Positano: a postcard setting and a cosmopolitan presence, facing the Li Galli islands. After 40 minutes of navigation, we arrive in Capri. The island of Capri (stop 3 hours), the pearl of the Gulf of Naples, is one of the most renowned and sought after tourist destinations in world tourism. The tour of the island is perhaps the best way to quickly appreciate nature and landscape views. Before returning to the port, you can look at the town of Capri which extends upwards from the seaside village of Marina Grande, between houses and cultivated land, to then close in the compact core of the historic center, from which emerge the Bell tower. Navigation resumes for the port of Sorrento and stops (stop 2 hours in late afternoon). Return to the hotel with pick up from Sorrento with private transfer. Alternatively, you can stay around Sorrento and return to the hotel with transfers at your own expense.

Very Disappointed
I have waited my whole life to visit Capri. I researched many options and boats. I settled on this tour because it went to both Capri and Sorrento. The tour said we would leave Positano at 11:30. We received a message two days before that the tour would leave 9:30 am instead. The night before we received another message that it was moved to 10:30. We got to the dock and waited an hour. We were promised snacks. There were none except sandwiches that we were told we could not have until we exited the boat in Capri. When we got there we were dropped at the backside. Not I’m the main city. Nothing was open. I asked about the main city and I which I was told we would have to get a bus on this side to get there!! I asked tour operator and he said boats are not allowed in main part of the city. Our boat driver had three beers and smoked three joints on our way to Sorrento. Very sad and very disappointed. Giovanni was nice but didn’t make up for the day.

Our goal is always to improve and satisfy our customer in the best possible way in order to bring with them the memory of a good experience. Remember to suggest our company to your friends, once they come to Italy to enjoy the beauties of Capri, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. with regard Giuliani Charter

How far in advance should I book Capri and Sorrento from Positano?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. On Outty we rank every Positano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cooking class with Pasta, mozzarella and Tiramisu with wine, Capri and Blue Grotto Semi Private Boat Day Trip from Sorrento, From Sorrento: Positano & Amalfi Coast Boat Tour with Pick Up. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Positano?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Positano?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
