A must-see at least once
Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola is an immense building at the end of the main street of the town. Well-preserved palace, impressive, with a well-maintained and magnificent interior. The highlight to see is the staircase that leads to the upper floors. Immense and well-kept garden with water features. It is truly a gem.

Renaissance jewel. The visit - about two hours - is worth the cost of the ticket (10 euros, but there are also benefits). The Farnese did not spare money to embellish their residences. The visitor should go a minimum prepared to appreciate the architectural structure and the pictorial works. Wonderful the hall of the Globe for several reasons.

A remarkable Palazzo set in beautiful surrounding, off the beaten track and well worth a guided visit.
Spent an hour and a half touring the Palazzo then explored the gardens, fountains and hunting lodge independently. The frescoes in the Palazzo are stunning. The range of subject matter is broad with classical and religious references and the sheer scale of the artworks, covering walls and ceilings with vibrant colours, is spectacular. However, without Serena’s detailed explanations and guidance we would not have appreciated fully the significance of the subject matter or the history of the building. This is a remarkable Palazzo in an amazing setting, dominating the town and the surrounding landscape. its preservation is a cause for celebration.

We got the wrong meeting place, we couldn't make the tour EVERYTHING was already paid for, and they didn't let us reschedule the visit either, really lousy Service

AN ITALIAN MASTERPIECE
Villa Farnese in Caprarola is something wonderful, imposing pentagonal palace with the staircase of Vignola to be the master. In the rooms there are no furnishings, but they are still very beautiful. A one-way path leads to the gardens and upper gardens where part is not accessible for restoration. Too bad not to see even a working fountain for a fault..... who knows why in Lazio often happens to find things that do not work as they should. Too bad that there is no simple audio guide as now widespread in most sites of historical interest to have exhaustive explanations without having to read the signs boringly. The excellence therefore deserves the villa as such, the organization can have room for improvement.
