The excursion was organized and carried out absolutely brilliantly. We had an incredible experience and enjoyed every moment of it. And that was no easy task, considering that the mighty El Niño was doing its best to throw a spanner in the works and ruin the whole plan! Thanks to the dynamic teamwork between Francesco and Maximiliano, we managed to pull it off. We felt safe and in good hands throughout the entire experience. We wholeheartedly recommend exploring Chile with ExplorelosAndes! We also went on a trip from El Alfalfal to Mirador de Cóndores, followed by a visit to Concha y Toro. This was exceptionally well organized, too. It seems the guys at ExplorelosAndes have even got the condors on their payroll, as several of these magnificent birds showed up and flew right over our heads! Maxi pushed us to our limits, but never beyond them, making sure we experienced everything on the itinerary and stayed on schedule. An outstanding experience from start to finish!

Maxi created an incredibly unique experience and adapted to the weather very well. After roads being closed due to snow, he found an amazing alternative for my daughter and I, and we couldn’t have wished for anything better. Maxi lead a gorgeous hike through the mountains, stopped at lots of site seeing and photo taking spots, and created an unforgettable custom lunch experience. He went out of his way to stop on the way back home for us to bring back a unique souvenir. His generosity and knowledge was present throughout the whole tour. Thank you Maxi for the wonderful adventure!

Great day with Maxi and a 4x4 in the mountains
What a great day! Maxi was our guide, and he picked us up promptly and piled our family of 4 into his comfy 4x4 (definitely better than the van option if you get the choice). Maxi was such a pleasure to get to know and to spend the day with, incredibly thoughtful and accommodating from start to finish, and full of suggestions for possible fun things for us to choose from as we went. He got the feel for us quickly and customized the experience to our vibe. You can read plenty about the destinations themselves, which were great (the mountains are just breathtaking), but really what makes the day is the energy and sense of fun and interest the guide can inspire in the group, and for that Maxi was the best and the highlight of our whole stay. We learned so much while our senses were treated at every turn. If we ever get the chance to go back to Chile we will look forward to another adventure with him!

Danitza was a great...
Danitza was a great guide. The soaking pools were amazing and on a Monday mid-day were nearly empty of people. Both guides offered good local knowledge and the lunch was delicious. We had a few issues on the trip and the guides managed through them with calm and poise leaving all of us feeling great about the experience.
