Road trip with guides that are more like friends.

I was fortunate to have a tour with just me and the guides. Freddie and Francisco were fun and knowledgeable. It really did feel like a road trip with friends. The views and the food were excellent. They also were very helpful in helping me organize a future trip to Atacama.

Excellent post-pandemic experience

We’ve done two tours with Freddy and Ivan (in addition to the Cajon del Maipo - Embalse el Yeso one we also did a Santiago Walking Tour). I truly enjoy both tours. Everything was well organized and on time. Guys made extra efforts to ensure all our questions are answered to the best of their knowledge. They were very flexible in adjusting itinerary when we wanted to make an extra stop or spend a few more minutes to take pictures. Both guides were very friendly and easy to talk to. I would definitively consider taking another tours with them next time I’m in Chile.

Great guys, wonderful experience

We did not just Cajon del Maipo but the Casablance Wine Tour and the Valparaiso/Vina del Mar day trips. All three days were great - Ivan and Freddy are so friendly and great hosts. We went to the hot springs on the Cajon del Maipo day and that is a must. Highly recommend if you want to do LGBT day trips in and around Santiago!

With Gratitude.

I went to Chile for my 50th birthday. I was told about Pride Tours and booked at the last minute because another tour I was planning canceled. Freddy picked me up from my hotel and took me on the most amazing adventure. He arranged for us to have a lunch at the home of a wonderfully kind lady. We sat at her dining room table and shared stories. When she found out it was my birthday she insisted on celebrating before we left. I will NEVER forget the experience....I was a little down and there was a purpose for this trip... I experienced kindness not only from Freddy but from 2 of his repeat customers who went along on this journey with us. I could not have had a better time. I am very Grateful that I met Freddy and was able to have this experience,

Cajon del Maipo - Embalse el Yeso LGBT+: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santiago.

How much does Cajon del Maipo - Embalse el Yeso LGBT+ cost?

+

Prices start at $180 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santiago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cajon del Maipo - Embalse el Yeso LGBT+ take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santiago is not rushed.

Is Cajon del Maipo - Embalse el Yeso LGBT+ worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santiago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cajon del Maipo - Embalse el Yeso LGBT+?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cajon del Maipo - Embalse el Yeso LGBT+ suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Cajon del Maipo - Embalse el Yeso LGBT+?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santiago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santiago and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cajon del Maipo - Embalse el Yeso LGBT+ start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santiago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santiago?

+

On Outty we rank every Santiago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Maipo Valley Wine Tour with 4 vineyards from Santiago., Valparaiso Port and Viña del Mar with Casablanca Wine Tasting, Santiago: Valparaiso, Viña del Mar & Casablanca Wine Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santiago?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santiago?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
