A Cabo "must do" for fun, education, and great food!

My husband & I have loved the JuanMoreTaco food tours and signed up for the Cooking, Dancing, and Mixology class for our friend's retirement trip this time: it was fantastic! It's a family business: they all work so hard to ensure the guests learn about their country and have a great time! Katrina was our enthusiastic instructor: we learned how to make margaritas from scratch, salsas, tortillas, and Mexican dance moves in between. We had so many toppings for our tacos--all delicious! Then we had a tequila tasting and learned about the different types of tequila followed by a chocolate (cacao) tasting--from beans to different types of molès (which could be bought in paste and powder to take home). We've been coming to Cabo for 20 years--usually 3-4 timex/year: MerCabo (market & restaurant) is one of our favorite places to come and to bring our many guests! It's always a fun educational experience! Salut to Katrina!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the incredible review and for being such a loyal part of the JuanMoreTaco and MerCabo family! Hosting you and your friends for such a special milestone like a retirement trip was an absolute honor. Katrina and the whole team are thrilled to hear you enjoyed every part of the experience—from shaking up fresh margaritas and pressing tortillas to mastering those salsa moves! We'll be sure to pass along your special shoutout to Katrina; her energy is truly contagious. We can't wait to welcome you and your next group of guests back to Cabo for another fun, delicious, and educational time soon. ¡Salud!

Great experience! What a great Cabo night!

You can feel the family connection in this business! Energy was amazing, entertainment was great, food and drinks were exceptional. This is our third time and we can’t wait until the next time! Great way to spend a special night with family and friends!

Response from the operator: Wow, three times?! Thank you so much for being such an incredible part of our extended family! We are absolutely thrilled to welcome you back every single time. You completely captured the heart of what we do—because we are a family business, making sure our guests feel that connection, energy, and joy is everything to us. Hearing that the entertainment, food, and mixology were exceptional means the world, especially coming from a seasoned pro of our class! Thank you for making us a part of your special nights out with family and friends. We already can’t wait for round four! Until next time, salud!

Our favorite activity in Cabo now!

Amazing experience! Karina and her team were exceptional. From the moment we were greeted and welcomed. This is a no-brainer every time you visit Cabo, this is a must do activity. We did our wrap up night there and could not have asked for a better experience, cooking, dancing, singing, and wrapping it up with some tequila tasting.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the visit and for sharing your experience! We are so glad you enjoyed the day with us. Wishing you the best and hoping to cook together again soon. ¡Gracias!

Cabo San Lucas Cooking, Dancing and Mixology Class: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.

How much does Cabo San Lucas Cooking, Dancing and Mixology Class cost?

    +

Prices start at $146 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cabo San Lucas Cooking, Dancing and Mixology Class take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.

Is Cabo San Lucas Cooking, Dancing and Mixology Class worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 149 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cabo San Lucas Cooking, Dancing and Mixology Class?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cabo San Lucas Cooking, Dancing and Mixology Class suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cabo San Lucas Cooking, Dancing and Mixology Class?

    +

Around 52 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cabo San Lucas Cooking, Dancing and Mixology Class start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Cabos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
