    Amazing Experience!

This was such an amazing experience! Florence was the best dive master! He was so patient and made me feel safe and comfortable on each dive. He was very knowledgeable and very encouraging. We got to see a spotted eagle ray, eels, lobsters, pufferfish and so many more fish! My husband was not able to dive because of his ear but got to snorkel with a sea lion while I was diving. This was a great day that we will remember forever! Thank you for a wonderful day!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled you had such a memorable day with Florent and got to see so much marine life. We’re especially happy you both enjoyed the ocean in your own way! We hope to see you again soon! 🤿🦭🌊

    10/10 dive shop

Booked 2 days scuba including Gordo Banks. These guys were brilliant. Super professional, everything ran like clockwork, helpful, excellent communication before the trip - especially about Gordo Banks as a storm was coming and they gave me all the info ahead of time as to what my options would be if we couldn’t go. Morgane our guide looked after us very well, her dive briefings were thorough and she led our Gordo Banks dives perfectly! Would absolutely choose these guys if I dive in Cabo again, 10/10.

Response from the operator: Woow! Thank you very much for this wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you had such a great experience diving with us, especially at Gordo Banks. It means a lot that you appreciated our communication and flexibility leading up to the trip. The weather can be unpredictable, so we always want our guests to have all the information they need to make the best decision. We'll be sure to pass your kind words along to Morgane—she'll be delighted to hear that her briefings and guidance helped make your dives so memorable. Thank you again for choosing to dive with us. It was a pleasure having you, and we can't wait to welcome you back the next time you're in Cabo for more underwater adventures!

    Amazing dives with Martin!

I've been using Cabo Private Guide for 6 years, they are my goto dive shop every time I come to Cabo. It's a woman owned shop, and the owner Laura is just amazing and her shop has recently become a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center (IDC)! This trip I did two days of local dives combined with the mobula ray snorkel safari. Martin was my guide on both days and was so much fun to dive with! We saw rays both underwater and also got to snorkel with them during our surface interval. He communicated the dive plan to me before each dive and he went slow exploring the sites giving me time to take photos and video. It was the perfect dive trip for me! I've also done the bigger trips with them to Gordo and those dive sites are great too, but I just really love the local dive sites and seeing all the different schools of fish. It's like being in an aquarium. Thank you so much Martin for the fun dive days and congrats Laura on the PADI 5 Star designation! Until next time! :)

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the loyal 6-year support and for this absolutely beautiful review! Having you as a regular part of the Cabo Private Guide family is the greatest compliment we could ask for. First, thank you so much for the congratulations! Laura is incredibly proud that the shop has officially become a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center (IDC). It is a huge milestone for our woman-owned business, and your support over the last six years helped get us here! We are so glad your custom trip—combining those beautiful local dives with the mobula safari—was absolutely perfect for you. Martin was thrilled to guide you again. He loves keeping things relaxed and pacing the dives perfectly so our photography and video enthusiasts can capture the magic without feeling rushed. Seeing the rays both during the dive and on your surface interval is the ultimate Cabo double-whammy! Whether you're exploring the deep peaks of Gordo Banks or enjoying the "aquarium" of our local sites, it is always a blast hosting you. Thank you again, and we already can't wait for "next time"! :)

    Great Private Diving Experience

Both Diego and Martine were terrific guides. Very skilled with great, but non-pressured adherence to safety protocols. Very personable and friendly. Shout-out to Maria in the office who handled the details very efficiently and accurately.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the fantastic feedback! It’s wonderful to hear that our team took such good care of you, from the office logistics with Maria to the water with Diego and Martin. We love what we do, and we're glad our passion for safety and service stood out. See you next time!

Cabo San Lucas Certified Scuba Diving: 2 Dives with Private Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.

How much does Cabo San Lucas Certified Scuba Diving: 2 Dives with Private Guide cost?

    +

Prices start at $160 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cabo San Lucas Certified Scuba Diving: 2 Dives with Private Guide take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.

Is Cabo San Lucas Certified Scuba Diving: 2 Dives with Private Guide worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cabo San Lucas Certified Scuba Diving: 2 Dives with Private Guide?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cabo San Lucas Certified Scuba Diving: 2 Dives with Private Guide suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cabo San Lucas Certified Scuba Diving: 2 Dives with Private Guide?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cabo San Lucas Certified Scuba Diving: 2 Dives with Private Guide start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Cabos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
