tour bus scam
worst experience total lie, seats are numbered no option to choose, schedule don't match, badly organize because several agencies run the bus, no one gives accurate info, very rude people, way better book a taxi and explore, the bus is a total scam

After reviewing our operation records, we found no booking or service under your name, which indicates that this comment was created solely to damage our reputation or you have mistake the place where it should belong. There are better ways to see Arequipa's highlights
My partner and I booked this bus tour to see the highlights of Arequipa and learn some history about this beautiful city. We ended up feeling very disappointed and that we had wasted one of our two precious days in this city. Our main complaints were: 1) We booked the tour's English option because my partner does not speak Spanish. The tour was provided almost exclusively in Spanish, even after I kindly requested that the guide please share an English translation as well. Fortunately, I do speak Spanish so I ended up translating for him throughout the day. 2) There was not very much history or description of any kind given as we drove around the city of Arequipa. Very different from other bus tours I've been on. 3) Many of the tour stops were clearly aimed at getting us to spend money and were not on the posted itinerary (stopping at an alpaca wool store and winery and being pressured to make purchases for example). 4) Because the tour took many unscheduled stops, it ran 2.5 hours long which led us to miss our evening plans. This ties into the overall complaint that there was poor communication and organization throughout. 5) While this didn't impact us directly, we were concerned when the tour guide was pushing an older woman to walk faster and rush across a busy road even though she was clearly having trouble catching her breath walking around and up the hills. At the end of the day, we bolted off the bus as soon as we re-entered the Arequipa city center and were relieved. While I did not have any safety concerns on this tour and we did see some of the nice scheduled stops (e.g. founder's mansion), overall it was not a good option and I would not recommend it unless it is the only option your budget allows for.
Response from the operator: We appreciate you sharing your concerns, and we take them seriously to improve our services. We understand the frustration and inconvenience this caused. We will address this miscommunication and ensure that language options are properly followed in the future, also we have suspend the guide because of what you have mentioned. We appreciate your honest feedback, and we are truly sorry for the negative experience you had. Your feedback is valuable to us as we strive to improve our services. We hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust and provide you with a more satisfactory experience in the future.

Great Experience!
Had a wonderful tour with guide Samuel and driver Hugo. Samuel took us to very interesting city viewpoints as well as historical landmarks. He always took the time to tell us the cultural significance of each locations as well as interesting anecdotes to make our experience come alive. Hugo did a great job maneuvering the small and crowded city streets without mishap. Both were friendly and curtious in all our dealings with them. I highly recommend InkaLake agency and Samuel and Hugo.

Got the job done
I'm not sure if there were better things to see, but the ride around the city was fun. Seemed like we hit the hot spots, other than the Plaza de Armas. Not extremely impressed, but it was a good way to drive around and see the city. The stops were pretty good.
