Avoid this chaos and scam
We had a very similar experience to what JSP described already here in their review. Also, the company somehow hacked my GYG account and wrote a marvelous 5* review there in my name. GYG agreed to remove it, but then didn't allow me to post my real 1* review. This might explain how this tour had such great reviews on GYG (and that's why we booked it), while being so poor.

No admission ticket, no audio guide, and blatant overcharging
I had booked a three-castle tour departing on May 10th, 2026 at 9:15 AM from Hotel Novotel. The day before, I received a confusing message saying that due to a low number of participants, the departure would instead be from another location at 9:00 AM. Elsewhere in the same message, the departure time was stated as 8:00 AM. I sent an inquiry to the tour operator through the app asking which time was correct, but I received no reply. At 10:05 PM, I finally got a WhatsApp message from the tour guide with the correct departure time. The tour description clearly stated that entrance tickets to the castles were not included in the price and emphasized that, for various reasons, participants should not buy the tickets themselves in advance, as the tour operator would take care of everything. The tour operator then informed us that tickets to Peleș Castle were sold out and offered access to the more modest nearby Pelișor Castle instead. The price for the ticket package to the three castles was stated as 425 LEI (85 EUR). I checked the regular ticket prices for each site, and they were 30 for Pelișor + 15 for Wednesday + 100 for Bran = 145 LEI. There were no queues anywhere. So the ticket package was three times more expensive than buying the tickets at the ticket office! The ticket package also had to be paid in cash, which caused extra inconvenience because I had to find an ATM. Since I didn’t have exact change and the guide didn’t have any to give back, I had to pay 450 LEI. This is blatant overcharging. I had been promised a Finnish audio guide for the sites. However, the audio guide contained no Finnish commentary at all. Summary • poor communication about changes • promised tickets to Peleș Castle were not available • ticket package price was three times the normal cost • the promised audio guide was missing

Borderline held captive added stops
Shameful excuse of a tour, borderline held captive. Changed the pick up time and location at 11pm the night before due to lack of sales. Then, demanded we download the get your guide app and text her the confirmation code after letting us on the bus. Changed the priceto 375 lei on us after asking for 300 lei cash for entrance to all in the email from get your guide. The tour guide Patricia got visuslly mad that I pointed out she was violating EU law and now I wasnt buying any of them and she wouldn't get her cut of this scam she was running at all. The tour dropped us off at cantacuzino castle where she said you have any 45ish minutes while I bring this tour inside (no set be back here at this time just watch for the bus) the rest of you can hang out on the street. Found out it was 50 lei pp to tour the Wednesday exhibit and grounds. Didnt have time for castle bran as it was a 15 minute walk from the bus stop. People who went inside said they saw one hallway staircase and had to leave. We thought we would finally be done for the day and we randomly stopped in brasov for an hour which was never mentioned as a stop on our itinerary and had nothing to do with the castles. If you buy entry through them be warned you won't have enough time to see anything really or will feel rushed. If trying to see wednesday filming stuff do it separate. Waste of a day.

never again - just a big scam
i am truly shocked by the tour I booked. first of all, the tour didn't include the destinations and castle visits i had booked. secondly, we were blatantly ripped off on the bus. getyourguide contacted me beforehand, saying I should book and pay €85 for the tickets in advance. i paid the €85 on the bus. what I had expected was: a visit into peles castle (as booked) a visit into cantacuzino castle (as booked) and of course, bran castle (as booked) then things started getting strange! we were told that the groups are mixed now and that we also had to include a visit in brasov. so, some of the group wondered: would we have enough time for everything? but then the real madness began. suddenly, we were told there were no more tickets and we couldn't visit peles castle as booked, but would instead visit pelișor castle – entrance fee there was 6 lei, just over one euro. then we arrived at cantacuzino castle – logically, we should have toured the castle – but NO! we only had 30 minutes and only looked at one "window." entrance fee was 15 lei, or 3 euros. bran also had far too little time, because we also had to visit brasov another participant was supposed to be left behind during the tour due to a complaint, but she was promised she could still visit peles castle. a time was arranged with her at the castle, by which we were supposed to be back at the bus to continue our journey. never book this company!!! Absolutely insane!!! a massive scam!!

Good, but could use some tweaks.
The tour itself was good. Well planned and executed. Andreaa our guide was awesome. Super knowledgeable, and extremely friendly! I do however have a few complaints.. 1) I wish it had been noted somewhere as to how large the group was going to be. If I had known it was to be a fully packed greyhound style bus, I likely would have opted for a 'small group' tour instead, and paid the extra. 2) Castle Contacuzino is cool to see, and the atmospheric location is definitely something.. However, as there is only the one room that can be entered, I found that part kind of a rip off if I'm being honest. Definitely not worth what was paid. 3) I didn't care for the order in which the Castles were completed. For me, ending at Bran castle after having seen Peles, made it extremely underwhelming. Note for the company - I would really consider changing this up, to start with Bran and end at Peles, as let's be honest, Peles is the star of the show! All in all, I would do it again, but I'd definitely pay the extra for a small group, and would opt out of the Contancuzino Castle as it isn't worth the price for what is accessible.
