Wow 10/10 experience. Two...
Wow 10/10 experience. Two snorkel locations. The first had 3-5 black tipped fin sharks and 2-3 rays. They came super close to us. The highlight for me was the second stop at the coral gardens. It felt criminal that we could swim so close to the coral arrangements that look straight out of an aquarium. Some of the fish, clams, and coral were neon colored! The boat drivers were fun, happy, and genuinely seemed to be having a great time showing us around. Loved this memorable experience. We did bring our own snorkel gear from our resort. They did have some communal ones available.

Best Tour Ever!!!!!
This was me and my mom’s favorite excursion we did the entirety of our two weeks in French Polynesia. We booked this tour through a Windstar Cruise, and it was everything the description promised and more! To start off, we saw numerous black tips sharks and stingrays, countless beautiful fish and coral, and even bonus dolphins and a sea turtle! Our three tour guides, Epineson, Alex, and Cyril, made sure we were well informed on safety practices (especially since there was a stronger current) and how to ethically interact with the wildlife. Alex in particular was very humorous and knowledgeable, and he even got in the water at one point and taught my mom and I about the different fish swimming around us. We learned a lot about the marine life and living in Bora Bora, and we had so much fun seeing so many bucket list creatures! This was a 10/10 tour, and I would recommend it in a heartbeat.
Response from the operator: Ia Orana, What a pleasure to read that this excursion was the highlight of your two weeks in French Polynesia! Seeing blacktip reef sharks, stingrays, colorful fish, dolphins, and even a sea turtle must have made the experience truly unforgettable. 🐬🐢 Thank you as well for your kind words about Epineson, Alex, and Cyril. We will be delighted to share your message with them. They will be very happy to know that their knowledge, humor, and passion for Bora Bora’s marine life made the tour so special for you and your mom. Thank you for choosing to explore the lagoon with us. We hope to welcome you back for another memorable adventure in Bora Bora! Team Moana Adventure Tours

Must Do!
Our Eco Snorkeling Tour with Alex and Ruumi (sp?) was amazing. They were both so kind. Even though the trip is non refundable, we were supposed to go Wednesday morning, but my husband got food poisoning on Tuesday night, and there wasn’t enough time to re-schedule, so we went to the dock, willing to go but asked if they could reschedule so we could feel 100% and enjoy it, and they did it, which was so kind. When we went the following day, they were so nice and informative. They made the tour so much fun, and we saw lots of sharks, stingrays, and fish. 10/10 recommend! Personally, the length of time was perfect too, and I would not have wanted to do anything longer.
Response from the operator: Ia Orana, We’re so pleased that we could reschedule your tour and allow you both to enjoy the experience in better conditions. It’s wonderful to hear that Alex and Ruma made the outing friendly, informative, and fun, and that you enjoyed the sharks, stingrays, and colorful fish. Thank you for your 10/10 recommendation and for highlighting the perfect tour duration! Kind regards, Team Moana Adventure Tours

Worth the Time to see Rays & Sharks
The tour and experience diving with rays and sharks was absolutely surreal. The guide was great with helping everyone have the best time possible - even helping people who weren't great swimmers - and knew all the best tricks to attract the sharks and rays.
Response from the operator: Ia Orana, Thank you for sharing your amazing experience! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your Shark & Ray adventure. Our guides are passionate about sharing the magic of Bora Bora’s lagoon and making sure every guest feels comfortable throughout the tour. We are happy that you had such a memorable encounter with the rays and sharks and truly appreciate your kind words about our team. Your feedback means a lot to us! Moana Adventure Tours Team

Bora Bora Eco Snorkel Cruise Including Snorkeling with Sharks and Stingrays: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.
How much does Bora Bora Eco Snorkel Cruise Including Snorkeling with Sharks and Stingrays cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bora Bora Eco Snorkel Cruise Including Snorkeling with Sharks and Stingrays take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.
Is Bora Bora Eco Snorkel Cruise Including Snorkeling with Sharks and Stingrays worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 573 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bora Bora Eco Snorkel Cruise Including Snorkeling with Sharks and Stingrays?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bora Bora Eco Snorkel Cruise Including Snorkeling with Sharks and Stingrays suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bora Bora Eco Snorkel Cruise Including Snorkeling with Sharks and Stingrays?
+
Around 201 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bora Bora Eco Snorkel Cruise Including Snorkeling with Sharks and Stingrays start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ubud?
+
On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ubud?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ubud?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
