The worst experience from...
The worst experience from the beginning when they didn’t have my reservation on their list and even double checked my booking via Viator and the email I received, still nothing, but the main guide said it’s okay to go with her group, as I can see another company that had just left for the water. I had asked her what’s her name or what company she is with, she looked at me and ignored my question. i showed up10 mind before the start time at 8:30PM I wanted to leave, but since I was there and paid, I wasn’t going to let this incident stopped me. She and another guide, Travis, went to speak and to get another boat. Such a weird vibe. No customer service was presented besides Travis saying,” I got you” and trying to make the group pumped up, but it appears that the group wasn’t as hyped. We got a bit of briefing before our paddle, but it was in a low voice in the midst of a high school football game going on in the background. Hardly anyone can hear and this was throughout the whole trip. It was apparent that there were first timers on kayaks, etc and people bumping into people. Lightening was happening so I asked if we should head back, but they didn’t want to and said it’s okay. What?! Also, there was a big boat without any lights on beside a small red light; we were around them on a few occasions. The main guide kept on telling us how to keep close to her and has shown her light to make her look bigger or known to the boater? Which I think was good cause it sounded the boat participants as I heard their conversation as if they don’t have any respect for kayakers. Overall, the experience was not worth it, but I had looked forward to see the bioluminescence creatures and all the wonders of the lagoon, etc. Nothing too exciting, if you have your own boat, go have fun in the night! I don’t recommend hiring a guide nor this company, Central Florida Kayaking. I basically walked straight to my car when I returned the kayak, as I could hardly wait to get back. Disappointed.

Mosquito Kayak Tour
It was cool to kayak, but that’s all you’re signing up for. Our tour guide Erin gave no tips for kayaking, this led to inexperienced groups bumping into each other for more than half the tour. Erin also seemed to be disinterested in working with the group or her fellow tour guide as she didn’t know his name. When another customer from the group asked about the name of the company due to scheduling issues, she refused to answer and whispered to the co worker she did not know. When Erin tried to tell the group some information on what we may see, she spoke extremely quiet, and when people asked if she could speak up she refused. For the entire tour people spent complaining, calling their family and yelling about the safety regulations, and getting eaten alive by mosquitos (so bad we needed to get a allergy cream to apply due to breaking out from the amount of bites). At the end of the tour we were informed that they do take tips which no one gave. The only highlight of the tour was the other tour guide Travis who attempted to keep the mood upbeat and kept people calm. No jellies, manatees, or dolphins. There was a few fish and again a lot of complaints. Would not recommend unless it’s Travis running the show.
