Convenient way to orientate yourself
This is a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours going round Muscat after you arrive. Unfortunately (or fortunately I’m not sure) we were there on non-cruise ship days so the tours only run at 1000 and 1300 meaning you can’t really use the get on/off option unless you want to spend 4 hrs in a place. Free water and earphones and a good English commentary. The upstairs is covered which would be helpful in the height of summer, less so when we went as it was sunny but not that warm. Buses run more frequently when cruise boats are in; the website and app are really helpful and you get a discount for booking on line (which is good because it’s quite expensive: $132 for 2 adults for 2 hrs). We picked up the bus from the 1st stop, this is right near the entrance to Muttrah souq and there are a couple of small cafes here you can pick up a snack. The corniche is directly over the road which is a nice place to sit and watch the world go by or to walk along.

Hop on Hop off Muscat
Muscat bus experience was very good. As we didn’t travel on a cruise ship day the route didn’t have many stops and was more a panoramic tour. A little expensive but worth the cost

Way overpriced
I never right reviews but I honestly felt scammed by this tour. It is very very over priced for the service given. The buses were not consistent and we were waiting for nearly an hour for a bus twice. Which made us reluctant to hop off anywhere else. Which is the whole point of taking the bus! There were only two buses running the circuit all day. My advise just get a taxi to where you want to go they are reasonably priced. The tour audio itself was also bad. I actually laughed when driving down a road full of car showrooms the audio told us this is where people buy their cars! Don't waste your money find any alternative.

Complete waste of money!
After paying we were told that there’s only 1 bus with 5 mins photo stops. Lasted 2 hours in total and it was really not worth it!

Very disappointing at a costly price
we paid for a 2 day event..the first day we were told we will be taken round but would not be allowed to get off at any site...the second day we got off at 4 sires and at Parliament we were not allowed to get in and at the churches only one was accessible...we also got onto one bus which took us to the port at Muscat and had to wait for over an hour for another driver...
