A MUST SEE in Kathmandu and genuinely a world class site
Bhaktapur is genuinely world class and deserves to be more well known, at least to westerners who have not come across it. As such, leave plenty of time to let the cumulative impression fron the temples and palaes sink in, as well as the numerous cafes and restaurants so perfectly placed to enjoy it. Remarkable Baktapur
This was a spectacular tour of the temples, back alleys, and religious relics of old Baktapur. This tour added so much to my understanding of this very ancient part of the world. My guide had seemingly endless knowledge of each historical period as well as some fascinating facts about the earthquake damage suffered in the last quake. Baktapour is a resilient city, not to be missed.
