Great day out for all the family
We had a brilliant time with Josh our guide and Rod our driver. Pick up from hotel was seems and new a/c mini bus very clean and comfortable. We loved swimming with turtles at the national park in Akumel - we saw turtles, fish, coral and a barracuda with 2 licensed guides who looked after our group of 10 aged 6-48. The seaweed is awful at our hotel beach but it was fine at Akumel, it was lovely to see a pretty beach while we were in Mexico. Afterwards we went to jaguar cenote for some adventure! We cliff jumped, swam and did the zip line which was all included and teens loved and then had a delicious traditional meal at a beautifuk restaurant to finish. Thanks Josh for a lovely day out we felt we were in good hands.

The best ! Much better than th huge industrial ones !!
Simply the best ! I'm so glad we chose Absolute Adventure. I wanted something more confidential than the huge tours. And this was incredible. Not only was the guide and the day awesome but we've learned a lot about Mexico and the région. Many many thanks.

Amazing tour experience! Mayan ruins, snorkeling through caves in cenotes and snorkeling with sea turtles!
My husband and I absolutely loved our private tour. Our tour guide, Luis, taught us so much about Mayan history and the geography and cenotes. We enjoyed seeing the ruins and learning about how the Mayans created their calendars/kept track of time. Also, Luis was a great photographer and took so many good pictures of us and the surrounding landscape. Snorkeling in the cenotes was amazing and we even got to explore some caves, including a bat cave. Lunch was delicious. Snorkeling with the sea turtles was also a highlight of the tour. It was so cute when they swam up and popped their little heads out of the water. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, and request Luis, he’s the best! Our driver, Omar, was also great. He stopped on the way back to our hotel so we could get ice cream. Both Luis and Omar were extremely friendly and professional, it was a great day!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your Tulum, cenote and sea turtle snorkeling experience. We're thrilled you enjoyed the Mayan ruins, cave cenotes, lunch, photos, and turtle encounter. It is wonderful to hear the day felt fun, friendly and memorable from start to finish. We truly appreciate your recommendation!

Great Tour!!
We booked the Tulum/Cenote/Turtles tour through TripAdvisor and had a fantastic time! All pre-tour communication was easy and clear. Our guide, Arturo, was friendly and did an excellent job. He told us what to expect and then lead us through the event, providing additional information and answering all of our questions along the way. The driver, Hugo, was skilled and did his best to give us a comfortable ride on some bumpy roads. Tulum was stunning and we were almost the first people to enter. We swam in the covered Taak Bi Ha cenote, which was like a different world! The turtle snorkeling was very busy with other tours but we saw several large turtles and enjoyed it all. All of the entrance tickets and coordination was handled by Absolute Adventure Mexico. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind review of your Tulum, Cenote and Turtle tour. We’re happy to hear communication was clear and that you had such a fantastic time from start to finish. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again soon!

Why this scores 93
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bestseller! Tulum Private Tour with Turtles and Cenote Snorkeling: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Playa del Carmen.
How much does Bestseller! Tulum Private Tour with Turtles and Cenote Snorkeling cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Playa del Carmen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bestseller! Tulum Private Tour with Turtles and Cenote Snorkeling take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Playa del Carmen is not rushed.
Is Bestseller! Tulum Private Tour with Turtles and Cenote Snorkeling worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 93 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 285 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Playa del Carmen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bestseller! Tulum Private Tour with Turtles and Cenote Snorkeling?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bestseller! Tulum Private Tour with Turtles and Cenote Snorkeling suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bestseller! Tulum Private Tour with Turtles and Cenote Snorkeling?
+
Around 100 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Playa del Carmen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Playa del Carmen and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bestseller! Tulum Private Tour with Turtles and Cenote Snorkeling start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Playa del Carmen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Playa del Carmen?
+
On Outty we rank every Playa del Carmen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include VIP Chichen Itza Private Tour, VIP Tulum Private Tour, Chichen Itza Private Tour VIP. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Playa del Carmen?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Playa del Carmen?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
