About this experience
Small-group tours only, just 12 guests per guide. We’ve combined decades of experience as both travel experts and Oahu natives to curate a one-of-a-kind Oahu experience. Highlighting the island’s most exciting attractions, the Pearl Harbor & Oahu Circle Tour lets you see the best of Oahu in a single day. The day begins with pick-up at a Waikiki hotel or condo. From there, ride in our comfortable Mercedes Sprinter van to Oahu’s most popular destination, Pearl Harbor. Here you’ll visit the historic site of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor which launched the United States into World War II. Equal parts solemn and inspiring, the visit offers a unique look at one of the darkest moments in American history. Our knowledgeable guides will then drive you around the entire island of Oahu, making sure that you see all of its top tourist attractions. The tour spotlights locations like the Dole Plantation, North Shore, and Nu’uanu Pali. It’s an entertaining and educational adventure.

Amazing experience
This was an amazing tour. Our guide/bus driver, Robert, was truly phenomenal. There were some not so nice guests on our tour who were rude to Robert, but he handled the situation with grace and professionalism. He shared tons of info about the places we were visiting, and he even gave us options to go to additional places that weren’t on the original itinerary. Very glad we booked this tour and were paired with Robert as our guide.

We had such a good day with our Hawaiian guide,“Handsome.”
We saw so much of the island and learned so much of the history of Hawaii and its people, Pearl Harbor, different areas of the island. We were entertained also with Hawaiian music as we drove and enjoyed Handsome’s beautiful voice singing along. It was a day well spent and we wish Handsome all the best in the future. Humuhumu, I think how to say his Hawaiian name. He was very knowledgeable about the culture and history of Oahu. We highly recommend him.
Response from the operator: Aloha Jennifer! Mahalo nui loa for the 5 stars and kudos to your guide! We really pride ourselves on hiring the best local, expert guides/drivers and also working with the best local activity/tour companies throughout the islands. Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Best of Oahu: Pearl Harbor & Oahu Circle Island Tour from Waikiki: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.
How much does Best of Oahu: Pearl Harbor & Oahu Circle Island Tour from Waikiki cost?
+
Prices start at $145 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Best of Oahu: Pearl Harbor & Oahu Circle Island Tour from Waikiki take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.
Is Best of Oahu: Pearl Harbor & Oahu Circle Island Tour from Waikiki worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 66 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Best of Oahu: Pearl Harbor & Oahu Circle Island Tour from Waikiki?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Best of Oahu: Pearl Harbor & Oahu Circle Island Tour from Waikiki suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Best of Oahu: Pearl Harbor & Oahu Circle Island Tour from Waikiki?
+
Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Best of Oahu: Pearl Harbor & Oahu Circle Island Tour from Waikiki start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oahu?
+
On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Oahu Small-Group Circle Island Tour with Turtle Snorkeling, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oahu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oahu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
