About this experience
Calling all WWII history fans! Pearl Harbor Tours’ most comprehensive day tour of the Park allows you to experience and explore! It’s almost like turning back the clock to that very day. You’ll visit the USS Arizona Memorial, the world-famous stark-white structure that straddles the great battleship. On the first day of the war, it suffered catastrophic damage, becoming a tomb for many. Also on this tour, you will get the opportunity to see the USS Battleship Missouri and the very spot where the Surrender Documents were signed to mark the end of WWII. Then we’re off to the Bowfin Submarine and the always amazing Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. Planes of all ages, types, and sizes are here, as well as several bullet holes from the Dec. 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. It was this single attack, on American soil, that rallied the people behind FDR and brought the US into WWII…

A bit rushed
The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and the early pick up was good, but the tour felt rushed and slightly disorganised. A tour of a couple of sights in Honolulu was included at the end but we would have preferred more time at Pearl Harbour. It may be that there is just too much to see at Pearl Harbour to cram it all into one day but we would have liked far more time at the battleship and at the air museum. We had less than an hour at each.

A comprehensive and awe inspiring tour
There was just one other couple with us. We had just the right amount of time at each venue to see everything thoroughly without rushing or hanging around. All instructions about where to go and when to meet back were clear and easy to follow so the day ran very smoothly. The visit to the Arizona memorial was incredibly moving and our guide’s own reflections on the event for his family, helped us to connect more fully with what it must have been like to experience this attack. Being able to see inside the USS Bowfin gave us an appreciation of the technology needed to make the vessel and what it must’ve been like living inside it. The submariners clearly felt like one big family and that they would do anything they could to save their submarine ( their home). It was amazing seeing inside the Missouri and how 3000 crew could live, work and operate together. Being able to see buildings that still bore the bullet holes from the original attack was definitely a sombre moment.

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Best Of Pearl Harbor: The Complete Experience Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.
How much does Best Of Pearl Harbor: The Complete Experience Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $197 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Best Of Pearl Harbor: The Complete Experience Tour take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.
Is Best Of Pearl Harbor: The Complete Experience Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 53 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Best Of Pearl Harbor: The Complete Experience Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Best Of Pearl Harbor: The Complete Experience Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Best Of Pearl Harbor: The Complete Experience Tour?
+
Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Best Of Pearl Harbor: The Complete Experience Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oahu?
+
On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Oahu Small-Group Circle Island Tour with Turtle Snorkeling, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oahu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oahu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
