    Best for families with kids

Crowded early in the day, so they run low on equipment because people keep it with them. But by noonish - all as advertised; free snorkel, standing paddleboards, kayaks, chairs & umbrellas. Also pool was well maintained. Lots of beach hawkers with knock off merch, cigars & massages. Best for families with kids.

Perfect Day. Beach is not the greatest but Cozumel beaches are all very similar. Food & service was great and reasonably priced. Thank you!

    Just OK

We visited Cozumel because of the seaweed issues at Playa del Carmen. The water is much cleaner and clearer. San Francisco beach club was just ok. For the $20 charge you get average loungers partially covered with trees/umbrella. The loungers have a thick foam which traps heat so not ideal if you're looking to spend a lot of time on them. They're also a bit run down. The pool is in a bad state so not something I'd recommend. The change rooms and ladies washrooms are clean. The men's washroom isn't. Food and drink from outside are not allowed forcing you to buy from their over priced menu. Snorkeling equipment is reused from customer to customer so definitely not an option. The kayaks, paddleboards and floaties in the water are fun. Taxi ride is a bit longer than expected (about it 20 minutes from the ferry terminal) and costs $20 for 4 people. Note they only take cash- better to keep exact as they may not have change in USD.

Response from the operator: Hola amigos, thanks for your comments and for visiting us during your holidays at Playa del Carmen México. Unfortunately seaweed season at Riviera Maya have been more frecuently this year. We will take care of each point you mention in order to keep offering a great beach day experience to our visitors.

    Seaweed

Had to turn around a leave because the beach was a mountain of seaweed- couldn’t even see water, we were extremely disappointed

Response from the operator: Hello friends, thank you for your comments. We would like to inform you that we experienced a couple of days with sargassum at all the island's beach clubs; we regret that your experience was negatively affected by it. Our beach is currently free of sargassum. Thank you.

    The beach was nice. Staff...

The beach was nice. Staff gets a little pushy selling stuff but besides that we had a good time. The food prices were resonable.

Response from the operator: Nice review Charita ! Thanks so much for your kind words and for visiting us during your stay in Cozumel México. We enjoyed to serve you, please come back soon Familia!

Best Cozumel Day Pass San Francisco Beach Club: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.

How much does Best Cozumel Day Pass San Francisco Beach Club cost?

    +

Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Best Cozumel Day Pass San Francisco Beach Club take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.

Is Best Cozumel Day Pass San Francisco Beach Club worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 246 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Best Cozumel Day Pass San Francisco Beach Club?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Best Cozumel Day Pass San Francisco Beach Club suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Best Cozumel Day Pass San Francisco Beach Club?

    +

Around 86 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Best Cozumel Day Pass San Francisco Beach Club start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cozumel?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cozumel?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cozumel?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
