What you'll see and do
Newberg
Small boutique vineyard with fantastic wines and views to match. These are often family-owned and operated wineries where the family still farms their grapes and sees them from vine to bottle. Likely, the person pouring will be the owner, family, or winemaker unless they are needed among the vines that morning.
90 minutes here
Dundee
This destination will feature a medium to large winery with a more well-known brand in the region. Sometimes you may have seen the brand among the shelves at a local wine bar while others may only sell to restaurants or on-site. Anticipate a beautiful tasting room with dynamic views of the valley or magnificent hillsides.
90 minutes here
McMinnville
This part of the itinerary is designated for a unique and specialty experience you are unlikely to find in your online search of Oregon Wine Country. This might include a private tasting with a vineyard owner or their incredible winemaker. Often you will be tasting among the vines or find yourself touring the cellar or winery to learn about the winemaking process.

A day to remember
What a day! From the second David welcomed us with a glass of wine, we knew it was going to be good. The van was super comfy, and David’s knowledge made the whole trip even better. Every vineyard had its own vibe and felt really special. Honestly, such a fun way to see the local vineyards — highly recommend!
Response from the operator: It's always a great day in Wine country with David! So glad you enjoyed each unique vibe and celebrated with some of our favorite vineyards. Cheers

Good Vibes, Good Times
Shane is great, the boutique vineyards were great, and we had a great time! My only feedback is that for price I would have expected better food and a vehicle we could all see each other as a big group, but did not affect our day much.
Response from the operator: Our Bed and Breakfast Experience is currently our most affordable tour option and is specifically for small groups. Maybe your large group had a private tour? We only have two vehicles for large groups, and unlike a passenger vehicle with bench seats, they are both set up with seats facing each other to allow for socializing during the time between destinations. You are always welcome to request a specific vehicle and we will do our best to accommodate. Regarding food, most tour companies provide limited charcuterie or a boxed lunch. Typically, our picnic lunch spread has several sandwich options, salad, charcuterie, lots of fruits and vegetables, and gets rave reviews. I would love to receive a phone call or email with specific ways to improve the menu. We are always on the lookout for opportunities to improve our hospitality and the overall customer experience. Thank you for the review and we look forward to knocking your socks off on your next visit to Oregon wine country. Cheers

For a great day, book this NOW!
This review is long overdue, as we traveled in May...but I'm still thinking about this tour! Where do I even begin? Shane was a fantastic communicator, driver, wine guide, DJ, caterer, photographer, conversationalist and post man. We live in Colorado, and I planned an Oregon Coast trip as a surprise for my husband and I's 10-year wedding anniversary. There are many wine tour options in the Willamette Valley, and The Good Vibes website sold me on this one. I enjoy wine and planning but was overwhelmed by planning which wines to try with SO many in the area. Shane was so wonderful in helping answer questions beforehand to coordinate while keeping my tour a secret. Due to the size of groups this day, we actually ended up getting a private wine tour - which kicked off with us sabering a bottle of rose at pick up. (How fun is that?!) He selected really wonderful and diverse wineries for us to visit, each with its own unique feel and great photo opportunities. The provided lunch was delicious (including the hazelnut spread), we rode in comfort and style, and loved the souvenir tumblers. We learned a lot about the valley and had great conversations during the day about life. I highly recommend this tour - and hope to take a similar one in Mexico with him one day, if that dream comes to life for The Good Vibes. One last note - we purchased a fancy wine key during our day, and I left it in the car on accident. I was so bummed about losing it. A week later I reached out, and Shane found it AND mailed it back to my house in Colorado! Talk about going above and beyond. Go book this tour now. Enjoy.
Response from the operator: Savanna, Thank you for the super thoughtful review! You and Paul were a delight to enjoy a day in wine country with. I am so glad you received the wine key, were able to keep the experience a secret, and we were able to share some of our favorite wines, people, and views while you were in the Willamette Valley. I look forward to catching up with you for another adventure soon. Cheers

Such a great tour!
We had a awesome experience with Shane as our tour guide. The tour felt very exclusive and meeting the wine makers was an educational yet fun experience. Would definitely book again!
Response from the operator: Holly, You and Jessica were so much fun to spend the day with. I love that you ladies are able to travel together so frequently, and we will definitely be ready to share another adventure with you! Thank you for the lovely review. Cheers

Amazing experience!
Shane picked us up in this amazing van complete with ability to be our own DJ, glass fireplace, snacks and drinks. He took us to 3 vineyards for a great mix of old world and cutting edge experiences. We highly recommend the experience!
Response from the operator: Thank you for joining us on a fantastic day in wine country. Cheers

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Bed and Breakfast Wine Tour - Small Group, Joinable/Sharable: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Portland.
How much does Bed and Breakfast Wine Tour - Small Group, Joinable/Sharable cost?
+
Prices start at $230 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Portland usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Bed and Breakfast Wine Tour - Small Group, Joinable/Sharable take?
+
Plan for about 6.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Portland is not rushed.
Is Bed and Breakfast Wine Tour - Small Group, Joinable/Sharable worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Portland, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Bed and Breakfast Wine Tour - Small Group, Joinable/Sharable?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Bed and Breakfast Wine Tour - Small Group, Joinable/Sharable suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Bed and Breakfast Wine Tour - Small Group, Joinable/Sharable?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Portland can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Portland and add a light layer if any part of the 6.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Bed and Breakfast Wine Tour - Small Group, Joinable/Sharable start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Portland within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Portland?
+
Portland's activity list is food cart and brewery crawls, Columbia River Gorge waterfall tours to Multnomah Falls, Mount Hood day trips and Willamette Valley pinot tastings. Gorge tours vary in how many falls they reach, so route detail is the deciding factor. On Outty we rank every Portland experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Guided Oregon Coast Tour from Portland, Multnomah Falls and Columbia River Gorge Half-Day Hiking Tour, Columbia Gorge Waterfalls and Mt. Hood Tour - Full Day. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Portland?
+
June to October for the Gorge, with waterfalls at their fullest in spring. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Portland?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
