    Madeira’s most stunning natural area

Beautiful breathtaking scenery, waterfalls trails. You need comfortable shoes to make the journey. I do advice that not to take small children.

Out of town and into the mountains

An excellent day out climbing high in the mountain range (by minibus) and then a 12klm walk to the 25 springs. Favio our guide was exceptional, full of knowledge, interested in each of us, often humourous and very protective of health and safety. Great scenery there and back and of course along the walk itself. Favio drove back a different way so that we could inspect the cliffs along the south coast. An exhilirating day and very good value for money. Go local and don't get sucked in by the 'special' deals which are linked to time shares.

What a brilliant day thanks to our guide Danilo. He made it fun and is very knowledgeable and an amazing wedding anniversary to remember. The views are breath taking and is a must to see. We would do this and all of the walks in the future with Danilo. Thank you for the best day.... Shaun & Clare

    Rude guide

We booked to go on the 26 fountains walk. We were picked up in an old white mini bus by a rude man who first demanded money and never told us his name. It then said get in as I don't care if you go or not. The rest of the walkers and us just laughed at how rude he was and watched him rush around. He was rude to people he met on the path and called them stupid etc. The walk was good, if rushed, and he pointed to the different plants while waiting for some to catch up. Drove downhill holding handbrake. Go but with another company.

Response from the operator: Dear client, First and foremost we would like to thank you for booking a tour with us, however, we are disappointed that the service was not what you expected. This is not the image we would like to portray to our clients and we will take measures for this not to occur once again in the future. Please accept our sincere apologies and we hope that either way you enjoyed your holidays on the island. The Pride Team

    +

That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Funchal, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Beautiful walks in Rabaçal, Madeira?

How far in advance should I book Beautiful walks in Rabaçal, Madeira?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Funchal can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Funchal and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

What are the best things to do in Funchal?

    +

On Outty we rank every Funchal experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jeep Tour Amazing West to Natural Pools -Full-Day, Porto Moniz, Seixal, Fanal Forest, Cliff Skywalk in Open Roof 4X4, West Tour-Fanal Forest & Porto Moniz Natural Pools Small Groups. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Funchal?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Funchal?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
