Amazing
Amazing one of a kind experience. We did the horses and caels. Our Guide Christian was amazing. He made it a lof fun He was informative and patient. It really was a once in a lifetime tour. We did the horse and camel rides. Unfortunately the company nickel ans dimes you. What began as a $160 tour ended up costing $300 with tips, $50 park entrance fee, expensive rinky dink meals ( which we were told were included but were not) and photos. You arent allowed to bring your camera or phone. $150 to bring your camera. Each photo is $20.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re thrilled to hear that Christian made your horse and camel rides such a fun and memorable experience, and that you appreciated his knowledge and patience. We also appreciate your comments regarding the additional charges, meals, photography, and cellphone policy. We understand how important it is for guests to have a clear understanding of what is included before their visit, and we’ll share your feedback with our team as we continue working to improve the guest experience. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us.

Not worth it
Only gave it a 2 because the camels were cute and we got to feed them. I had to search to find what time they were picking us up, ride took a very long time; we got there 30 minutes after the start time. Then we are told it’s $25 to enter the park which we pay, then are told you cannot bring phones or cameras for “safety reasons” that suddenly disappear if you pay an extra $150 😒. One of the girls explains these rules to me and then calls me out when I question it. Our tour guide was great and the camels were cute, we were lucky to be sitting in front. However we got no photos because the ones they took were bad and also cost an astronomical amount. We did get 3 tacos for free which were good. Tequila tasting was subpar, bartender was rude and acted like it was a burden to get us samples which were tiny. We told them when we were ready to leave and they said they would call us when the bus arrived which they did not so we almost missed the bus. Total money grab, choose another company!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the camel encounter, the tacos, and that our guide helped make your visit more enjoyable. We appreciate your feedback regarding the transportation, communication, and the different aspects of the experience. We understand how important it is for our guests to have clear information from the beginning, and we’ll review your comments with our team to continue improving our service. We would like the opportunity to learn more about your visit and look into your experience further. Please feel free to contact us at community@cactustours.com so our team can provide personalized follow-up. Thank you again for taking the time to share your observations.

Why this scores 80
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Beach Camel Ride and Encounter in Cabo: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.
How much does Beach Camel Ride and Encounter in Cabo cost?
+
Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Beach Camel Ride and Encounter in Cabo take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.
Is Beach Camel Ride and Encounter in Cabo worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 833 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Beach Camel Ride and Encounter in Cabo?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Beach Camel Ride and Encounter in Cabo suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Beach Camel Ride and Encounter in Cabo?
+
Around 292 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Beach Camel Ride and Encounter in Cabo start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?
+
On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Los Cabos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
