Ok camel ride!
Riding the camels was fun especially for the kids, but food wasn’t that great and no quesadillas like it said. We didn’t feel it was worth the price! We paid $700. Plus for a family of 6 once you have to pay the $25 PP park fee. Not worth the price in our opinion. On a side note we did have a very nice staff, Kevin, working with us. He was great but probably should have stayed home with a fever and not pass his sickness to others.

VIP upgrade scam
Karina, our guide, was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, helpful, and made the experience enjoyable. The tour itself was short but informative, and riding the camels along the beach was beautiful. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the VIP upgrade. After booking, we received a message encouraging us to upgrade, with one of the main advertised benefits being that we could keep our phones with us and use them throughout the experience. That was a major reason we chose to pay extra. However, once there, we learned that you cannot actually use your phone while riding the camel, the guides are not required to stop and take photos for you, and during the designated camel photo encounter, their photographer is positioned in a way that makes it difficult to take your own pictures. When we raised our concerns with staff, we were told the experience was considered VIP because we received a private tour. However, all of the tour groups we observed were already very small, so our experience did not appear significantly different from the standard tours. Based on what was advertised to us when the upgrade was offered, I do not feel we received the VIP benefits we paid for. I will be disputing the VIP upgrade charge because the experience did not match what was represented when the upgrade was sold to us. One additional thing that would have been helpful to know in advance is that the tour guides are paid through tips. This was not clearly communicated beforehand, and knowing this would have allowed us to come prepared with cash to appropriately tip our guide—especially since Karina did such a wonderful job. Overall, we enjoyed the camel ride and Karina was fantastic, but I would recommend booking the regular experience and skipping the VIP upgrade. All of the reviews that complain about the same issue were right, I should have listened.

I was very excited to...
I was very excited to ride a camel, however the tour is not very long AT ALL!! You are not allowed to have your phone. They have someone riding an ATV capturing pictures of everyone. They don't want you taking personal photos because the company wants to sell you photos after the tour. The tour itself is already over priced and then to kick you a little bit more you won't have proof of the experience unless you purchase it.

Absolutely Amazing Experience — Kary Went Above and Beyond!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kary (Karina) and the incredible experience she gave us during our tour. From the very beginning, she was welcoming, professional, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had an unforgettable time. Kary didn’t simply do her job — she went above and beyond every expectation. She made us feel comfortable, took the time to explain everything, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were enjoying every moment of the experience. Her positive energy, kindness, and personality made such a huge difference. What impressed me the most was how naturally she cared about the little details. You can tell when someone is simply working and when someone truly loves what they do — Kary is definitely the second kind. She made the entire tour feel personal, fun, and special rather than just another tourist activity. When you travel, you remember beautiful places, but you also remember the people who made those places even more memorable. Kary was one of those people for us.
