Terrific tour thanks to our guide, Tim!
It was a fabulous trip and Tim was terrific! He added so much extra information and extra side sights. We learned so much history and factual info about Bath that was not expected. We had been to Bath over 20 yrs ago and did not see the Crescent housing area. Strolling through the shopping area was enjoyable too. Seeing Cotswolds area was highlighted with a stop at Castle Combe. We highly recommend Tim Purkis. Peggy & Bruce Romenesko

If you book a tour, REQUEST ANDY! He’s the best!
Ian at Southampton Tours put together a three-day custom tour of all of the places we wanted to visit including Bath, Stonehenge, and various towns of in the Cotswolds. Andy was our tour guide for all three days, and we all feel like he’s now a member of the family. Andy’s incredibly knowledgeable about every place we visited and he made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the entire three-day tour. I wish I had more thumbs up and stars to give. Thank you so much for making our family trip so enjoyable, safe, and unforgettable.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Southampton?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Southampton?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
