Best wine tour ever!!
If you want to experience the best high-end, specialized wine tour that you will ever be on, take a private day trip with Matthew Kurko of Small Batch Wine Tours in Adelaide to the McLaren Vale or Barossa regions. We did both and were blown away by his knowledge and contacts. It was the best two days of our month of great days in southeast Australia. It was, by far, THE BEST wine tour that we have EVER been on and we’ve been on a lot of wine tours around the world.
Response from the operator: What can I say - I'm humbled by your words. Thanks for the great feedback! :D

Wonderful private wine tours of Barossa and Adelaide Hills wine valleys!
We are a group of two couples that enjoy tasting wine and being introduced to new wine areas and experiences. We signed up for two private Small Batch Wine Tours over a long weekend because we wanted excellent knowledge and guidance with a local who could tailor each of the days to our requests. We were delighted with the results! Matthew worked with us on our two itineraries, asked lots of questions in the months before our trip and made adjustments throughout for fire conditions and weather. He taught us a great deal about the two wine regions and we tasted a number of excellent wines in each, plus the tour included lunch at two lovely restaurants featuring local cuisine. He told us about the local history of wine production, highlighted nuggets of regional history, introduced us to differences among a variety of Australian wines and was a superb driver as we drove through challenging hills and valleys. All of our winery stops and restaurants were excellent, including Deviation Road, Petaluma, Yalumba, Shaw & Smith, Two Hands, Seppeltsfield and more. We highly recommend Matthew and wish we could give him more than 5 stars!
Response from the operator: Thanks for the amazing review, Micki!

Great day!
We have done quite a few wine tours in various places and this was very nice. Matt is great. He is from the area so he is very knowledgeable. It was 4 of us and a young couple joined us. We had a lot of fun and some great wines. Lunch was also really good!

Matt is fantastic
Matt took us around the Barossa, knew everything to know around the area. Took us to some boutique wineries who really hit the nail on the head for what we were after. I could not recommend highly enough his services and professionalism.
Response from the operator: Thanks for returning again and again Trenton - and for the amazing review.
