OUTSTANDING TOUR
I luckily booked this tour, and it was amazing. George picked us up personally in his van and we had a perfect day visiting 4 great wineries. His knowledge of the area and easy gracious personality made the whole experience first class. We didn't hit the largest wineries, but the one's he chose were excellent. I can and would highly recommend Barossa Valley Tours, you will not be disappointed. Thanks George.
Response from the operator: Thank you both for the great day and this great Barossa Valley wine tour review, I am glad you enjoyed the selection of wineries and the last stop was great hearing your stories. I look forward to hearing or seeing you both on your next visit to South Australia. Regards, George

Best Day out - Supreme Guide
We had the most wonderful day out with George, we had a list and George added to that, to take it to next level WOW factor. His list was way better than ours 😄 Somehow, he just knew where and what we’d like. It was a great experience, gorgeous wineries and lunch , the best day of our holiday and George took the most awesome photos so we have a really great memento of the day. He also kindly took us to a supermarket on the way to our accommodation and waited while we picked up a few things. We can’t wait to do more tours in some of the different wine regions South Australia has to offer with this Supreme Wine Tour guide. We highly and happily recommend George from Wine Valley Tours
Response from the operator: Your review made my day! I am thrilled by your kind words and appreciate your positive feedback on our service. We hope you'll return to Adelaide South Australia from New Zealand for another wine-filled adventure. Maybe next time, we can prepare a picnic stop for your love of nature.

Fabulous Day in the Barossa
Absolutely loved this wine tour experience with George. His knowledge and suggestions were excellent and we visited absolutely stunning wineries. George was very accommodating to our needs. Would book again and again.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your great booking and company throughout the day, I appreciate the reviews and all your support, choosing the right tour operator should not be hit and miss, we should all perform at the highest level.

What a great day with George
What a great day we had with George. He was very knowledgeable and knew his way around the Valley very well. We were taken to some very nice small wineries in the region. The wines were very, very good. We travelled in a small, comfortable bus. The next time we visit Adelaide this is the company we will wine tour with. Maclaren Vale here we come! Be ready for us George.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to let others know of your experience in the Barossa Valley Wine Tour, it was great to host you both and the McLaren Vale also has lots of delicious wines and great cellar doors to visit. All the best to you and I hope you enjoy your new wine flavours.

Terrible
I booked with George via email. He sent through the Perfect day for us with myself adding to it. I double checked with George that I was confirmed & the answer was yes. 5 days out from our tour I contacted George agin to say I had not received any updates & I needed to let him know our pick up address. George came back with he had booked someone else ???? Bad Communication, Bad Business acumen !! No, I am sorry.
Response from the operator: A quote was given for a tour. Booking confirmation was needed. No confirmation was sent and no payment was taken. All bookings require a minimum 30% deposit to be secured. No tour was conducted. Therefore, no review should be allowed. It was a pity we could not host you as you sound very passionate, I have 3 vehicles available with 2 other drivers, the amount of people wanting a tour and last-minute cancelations is very common since Covid. in the industry from 1995 so I am sure those who read the review should always make sure confirmation and deposits are paid.

Barossa Valley Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Adelaide.
How much does Barossa Valley Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $338 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Adelaide usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Barossa Valley Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Adelaide is not rushed.
Is Barossa Valley Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Adelaide, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Barossa Valley Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Barossa Valley Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Barossa Valley Day Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Adelaide can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Adelaide and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Barossa Valley Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Adelaide within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Adelaide?
+
On Outty we rank every Adelaide experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Barossa Small Group Tour: Wine tasting, Lunch & Chocolate, Discover Barossa: 4 Wine Tastings, Gourmet Lunch, and Hidden Gems, Adelaide Highlights, Hahndorf & McLaren Vale Wine Tasting and Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Adelaide?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Adelaide?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
