The description for this...
The description for this tour said this tour starts at 6:00 am and you will picked up at your hotel. We were in the lobby at 5:45 am. At 6:05 I sent a message to the tour operator saying we have been waiting in the lobby. There was no response. At 6:18 I sent another message and still no response. At 6:30 I sent a message asking how long we would have to wait to get a refund and no response. I called and spoke with Viator and they tried contacting the tour operator and they didn’t get a response. They put in for a refund. At 8:51 am I got a call from the tour operator saying that the tour started at 6:00 am and the pickup time would have been at 4:30 am. He apologized and said his people were supposed to message me the day before to let me know the pickup time. There is nothing in the description of this tour saying the pickup time was earlier than 6:00 am, I would not have booked it if that was the case. Viator did refund the money.
Response from the operator: Like I said the tour starts 6am, we work with 110 resorts and pick up depends on where are you staying, we cannot pick up 6am in 110 resorts at the same time!!! that is illogical But seems like you can’t understand that!!! My office opens 8:30am and as soones I open it I saw your message and I personally called you back and give you a full refund! I don’t see what’s the problem, usually when is not show is not refundable but I totally understand so I was nice!

Do not book this tour
Tour guide did not communicate a pick up time. We waited 45 minutes, he never showed, we still got charged for the tour. Tony only granted a 50% refund after not calling or showing up! SCAM!!!!!!
Response from the operator: That’s not true at all, i sent viator the proof that my driver was in your lobby in the morning, so weird that other 7 people went on the tour and you didn’t! Always when is no show my driver has to send me picture on the lobby, and the watch so we can see the time, we always give 5 minutes tolerance!

Fun and memorable
Our tour experience was great. Starts off with nice trip to the beach, then the capital of Baja California Sur, and Todos Santos. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the tour. Had a great time since this was an all day tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review!!!

Why this scores 53
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Balandra, La Paz & Todos Santos: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.
How much does Balandra, La Paz & Todos Santos cost?
+
Prices start at $115 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Balandra, La Paz & Todos Santos take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.
Is Balandra, La Paz & Todos Santos worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Balandra, La Paz & Todos Santos?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Balandra, La Paz & Todos Santos suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Balandra, La Paz & Todos Santos?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Balandra, La Paz & Todos Santos start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?
+
On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Los Cabos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
