Churchill Downs and Buffalo Trace - great day!
We had a great day! We enjoyed our Driver Belkis very much. They were able to get us tour tickets when we were unable to do so on her own and the ease of being dropped off close and not having to park and drive was wonderful. We ended up with a rainy day so that let us relax on the trip. You recommend this tour. !
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! We are thrilled to hear that you had a wonderful day and that you enjoyed your bourbon adventure with Belkis. She is a fantastic guide, and we are happy she was able to help secure your tour tickets and make the day easier and more enjoyable for you. One of the best parts of having a private transportation experience is exactly what you mentioned — being able to relax, avoid parking, and simply enjoy the journey between distilleries, especially on a rainy day. We truly appreciate your recommendation and are grateful that you chose B&C Experience for your bourbon tour. We hope to welcome you back again for another unforgettable Kentucky experience! — The B&C Experience Team

Amazing Transportation and Effortless Tour Access
Our driver Yoel was prompt for each of our pickups and very professional. The tickets were handled for us in advance, and we had no issues accessing either of the tours. The Buffalo Trace Tour and Tastings were great and allowed for some time in the gift shop afterwards. We were fortunate enough to see a race at Churchill Downs! Having transportation from our hotel in Louisville was wonderful. The trip to Buffalo Trace is about an hour, and we loved just getting to relax both directions. We were the only two couples on our trip. We will definitely be recommending this tour to friends.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you had such a great experience with us. Yoel takes great pride in providing professional and reliable service, and we're glad he helped make your day smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. It’s fantastic that you enjoyed your time at Buffalo Trace, had the opportunity to explore the gift shop, and even got to experience the excitement of a race at Churchill Downs! Having the chance to relax and enjoy the journey instead of worrying about the drive is exactly the experience we strive to provide. Thank you for choosing B&C Experience and for recommending us to your friends. We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you back for another memorable Kentucky bourbon adventure in the future! Cheers! 🥃🚐🏇 The B&C Experience Team

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
B&C Buffalo Trace and chuchill down: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Louisville.
How much does B&C Buffalo Trace and chuchill down cost?
+
Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Louisville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does B&C Buffalo Trace and chuchill down take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Louisville is not rushed.
Is B&C Buffalo Trace and chuchill down worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Louisville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule B&C Buffalo Trace and chuchill down?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is B&C Buffalo Trace and chuchill down suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book B&C Buffalo Trace and chuchill down?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Louisville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Louisville and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does B&C Buffalo Trace and chuchill down start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Louisville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Louisville?
+
Louisville runs bourbon distillery tours and tastings along the Urban Bourbon Trail, Churchill Downs and Derby Museum visits, Louisville Slugger factory tours and river cruises. On Outty we rank every Louisville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Historic Old Louisville Walking Tour, ORIGINAL Old Louisville Walking Tour seen in The New York Times!, Secrets of Louisville: 3hr NuLu Food & History Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Louisville?
+
April to June and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Louisville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
