Scam
This company is a scam. They took my money and never got in touch with me regarding our trip and I could not get in touch with them.

Poor customer service & online booking
Cannot review the actual ATV experience because we had such a difficult time booking the correct tickets via Viator (formerly TripAdvisor). And when we called the actual vendor, Sierra Adventures, he got mad at US because his choice of online vendor is screwed up. Customer service was so poor that we just said, "Forget it" and had fun elsewhere.
Response from the operator: Booking for Sat, Oct 5, 2024 Please refer to the attached confirmation repot by Viator... Mr. Mccleary did not pay the proper amount, in fact ( BR 1186876275) shows ( no net payment at all ) on the platform.... We contacted the guest by phone promptly after his late booking attempting to resolve the payment issue. We were very cordial and tried to reason with the Mr. Mccleary but the approximate $250.00 payment is not amount for 1 person let alone 2 participants.... We attempted to offer other options or activities, since he told us the actual price was too expensive, after the fact. We are actively working to find out why the guest was not charged the proper amount listed the platform, setting us up for a poor experience. Please have vendor services contact, us so we can get this resolve for future bookings. Great time
Touring and seeing places I only dreamed about. Tap shooting was a good time. Realized I needed more practice.

FUN, fun, fun!
We took the ATV tour and had a great time! Jim & Ken were very pleasant & hospitable. Jim helped us schedule the tour and arrange the details of being picked up in the company limo at the hotel. He drove us about 45 to the beautiful countryside of the Sierra Nevada’s to the tour site. There we met Ken, our tour guide, who fitted us with all of the proper gear & gave us a brief lesson in ATV riding & safety. The trail was very dusty, so I was glad that I brought a bandana to cover my face! The tour wound through acres and acres of the beautiful Sierra Nevada’s. Ken would stop along the trail to show us some of the amazing scenery & to give us a brief history of the land. We were also provided snacks, cold water & a bathroom break along the trail after about 45 minutes. He added a few obstacle courses and super curvy trails to increase the excitement, too! Along the way we even saw a bear in the distance! This was so much fun! I’m glad that we did this & would highly recommend the ATV tour!
Response from the operator: Thank You ! For taking the time to reach out with such a glowing review ! .... We do our best to pay attention to detail... So it is very rewarding to hear our guests notice our efforts while having a memorable experience with us at, Sierra Adventures.

Why this scores 32
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
ATV or UTV Tours & Trap Shooting Combo Packages from Reno: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reno.
How much does ATV or UTV Tours & Trap Shooting Combo Packages from Reno cost?
+
Prices start at $528 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reno usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does ATV or UTV Tours & Trap Shooting Combo Packages from Reno take?
+
Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reno is not rushed.
Is ATV or UTV Tours & Trap Shooting Combo Packages from Reno worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 32 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Reno, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule ATV or UTV Tours & Trap Shooting Combo Packages from Reno?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is ATV or UTV Tours & Trap Shooting Combo Packages from Reno suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book ATV or UTV Tours & Trap Shooting Combo Packages from Reno?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reno can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reno and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does ATV or UTV Tours & Trap Shooting Combo Packages from Reno start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reno within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Reno?
+
Reno mixes casino-town nightlife with easy access to Lake Tahoe: Tahoe day tours, Virginia City ghost-town trips, rafting on the Truckee and winter ski shuttles. On Outty we rank every Reno experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Experience Raptors and Falconry in Reno, Reno Ghost Tour: Ruin, Revenge, & Reckoning, 1 Hour Distillery Tour and Tasting Flight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Reno?
+
June to September, plus December to March for ski access. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Reno?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
