Museum and cafe
Amazing depiction of Maria Callas! Wonderful museum and very affordable. Fantastic cafe on the ground level with excellent coffee and dessert.

Small but worth it
Small interactive museum. It's all about the life of Maria Callas. There's pictures and videos and audio with her voice. There's some personal items from Maria that are now part of the museum. The café is cute, I grabbed a coffee and a muffin on my way out. Worth the visit!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind review and for visiting the Maria Callas Museum. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed exploring Maria Callas’s life through the museum’s interactive exhibits, audiovisual material and personal objects, and that you also had the chance to stop by our café. We hope to welcome you again soon!

Selling Callas
Turning Callas into a commodity is the trend. This includes the Benaki exhibit of the ludicrous Jolie film costumes. What does her art have to do with mugs and t-shirts?
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. The Maria Callas Museum is the first museum in the world dedicated entirely to the life, artistry and legacy of Maria Callas. Through its permanent exhibition, thematic rooms and the immersive “Maria Callas Experience”, it invites visitors to discover the artist and the woman behind the icon through original objects, rare archival material, audiovisual content and interactive elements. This contemporary museum approach was recognised with a Special Commendation at the European Museum of the Year Awards 2025.m experience — an approach that was recognised with a Special Commendation at the European Museum of the Year Awards 2025. As for the museum shop, its purpose is not to reduce Maria Callas to a commodity, but to offer visitors a carefully curated selection of elegant items inspired by her life, legacy and enduring connection to art and culture. For many visitors, these objects serve as a meaningful keepsake of their visit and a way to carry a small part of that experience with them. We understand that each visitor engages with museums differently, and we appreciate your feedback. At the Maria Callas Museum, our aim remains to honour Callas’s artistic legacy with respect, depth and a contemporary perspective. Kind regards, The Maria Callas Museum team

Wonderful Callas
From the first steps on the white Carrara marble staircase, the black elegant elevator and the red soft carpet we knew that it would be something extraordinary. We were not disappointed!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We hope to welcome you again!

Worth a Visit
Great small museum featuring this classic artist known for her opera repertoire. Has great interactive, clips of her performances, well done. There’s historic review of her career and family life. Interviews with coach, and the men in her life. Small cafe and shop in structure too.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Athens Maria Callas Museum Admission Ticket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Athens Maria Callas Museum Admission Ticket cost?
+
Prices start at $14 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Athens Maria Callas Museum Admission Ticket take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Athens Maria Callas Museum Admission Ticket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Athens Maria Callas Museum Admission Ticket?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Athens Maria Callas Museum Admission Ticket suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Athens Maria Callas Museum Admission Ticket?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Athens Maria Callas Museum Admission Ticket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis, Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Acropolis E-bike Tour With Entrance Tickets. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
