Fantastic Tour with an Amazing Guide

Outstanding experience with a fantastic guide. We did Arches in the morning. We entered through a road from the back of the park and made our way to the front. As a result we didn’t have a line. Warren, our guide, explained the history of the park, including how it was formed, the original settlers who influenced the Department of the Interior to designate it was a monument and then a park. He explained forest and fauna. He took us to all the major Arches We stopped for lunch which he prepared that was light and filling. We spent the afternoon in the Canyonlands off road on the floor of the canyons. This followed the Colorado River and he provided story after story of this amazing place. This was definitely worth the money because we learned and saw so much more than anything we could have done on our own.

Response from the operator: Hi there, We really appreciate you taking the time to leave this detailed 5 star review for us! We are lucky to have passionate and knowledgeable guides like Warren to staff our team and are glad that you felt that the trip was worth the money. If you are ever in the area again and would like to go on another tour with us, please let us know! Best, Sierra

    Great Story Teller

Warren was phenomenal. He was a great story teller, keeping us engaged all day. He was able to curtail the tour to our needs. Will return to Moab just to do more tours with Navtech and Warren.

Response from the operator: Hi Olivia, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this great review and highlight Warren going above and beyond. We will definitely share this with him. We'd be happy to take you on another adventure any day! Best, Sierra

    Pictures can’t do it justice!!

This convoy expedition was phenomenal! Pictures don’t do it justice, but I’ve added some. The off roading was so fun and definitely safer than I thought. My favorite part was learning the history of Canyonlands and seeing the Eye of the Whale in the Arches park. So great!!

Response from the operator: Hello, We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed your combined tour of Canyonlands and Arches National Park. Safety is certainly our priority so it warms our to know that was your experience. Thank you for your review. We hope to have the opportunity to lead you on another expedition on your next visit to Moab! Best, Corey

Arches & Canyonlands Full Day 4X4 Combo: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moab.

How much does Arches & Canyonlands Full Day 4X4 Combo cost?

    +

Prices start at $275 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moab usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Arches & Canyonlands Full Day 4X4 Combo take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moab is not rushed.

Is Arches & Canyonlands Full Day 4X4 Combo worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 251 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moab, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Arches & Canyonlands Full Day 4X4 Combo?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Arches & Canyonlands Full Day 4X4 Combo suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Arches & Canyonlands Full Day 4X4 Combo?

    +

Around 88 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moab can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moab and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Arches & Canyonlands Full Day 4X4 Combo start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moab within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moab?

    +

Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands: sunrise arch tours, 4x4 runs on Hell's Revenge, Colorado River rafting, canyoneering and dark-sky stargazing. Park entry timing systems change often, so we weight tours that handle reservations for you. On Outty we rank every Moab experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HIGHLY RATED U-DRIVE Moab Hell’s Revenge UTV Off-Road Adventure, BEST! Hell's Revenge U-Drive 4X4 Tour in Moab +Dinosaur Tracks!, 5-STAR Moab Hell's Revenge UTV U-DRIVE TOUR + DINO TRACKS. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moab?

    +

April to May and September to October, avoiding peak summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moab?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
