Great trip to Arches with Ian/ Good Trip Adventures
On April 30, we had the very good fortune to be paired up with Ian as our guide for an incredible trip to the Arches national park. Ian made the entire days adventure, fun and enjoyable. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Park and its history and all of the extraordinary formations created over the past few billion years or so! He was very attentive and helpful in all respects. He treated us to a wonderful lunchtime break and kept pulling one more delicious item after another out of his lunch pack. He just did a terrific job and we enjoyed every moment touring the arches with him. Strongly recommend him and his company for a trip to the arches or any other national park which Ian might cover.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review! We're thrilled Ian made your Arches adventure so memorable. His passion for the park's geology and history really does shine through! We appreciate you choosing us and we'd love to guide you through another park soon!

Great Guide Maximizes the Experience
Amazing day in Arches with our guide Kent and out 14 and 12 year olds. He planned an itinerary that maximized our time in the park and carefully found the balance of different sets in our small crew. Loved being able to hand over the coordination of driving and park entrance and route planning to an expert that could also take our preferences into account with ease. Being with a guide made us more secure to do certain hikes. Kent planned an awesome lunch and made sure we got great background in the geology, flora, fauna and people history associated with the area. Worth every penny!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We're so happy to hear that having a guide made your day in the park worry- and hassle-free. That's our goal! We hope to see you again soon!

Exceptional private tour of Arches
We had an absolutely incredible private tour of Arches National Park with Alex from Good Trip Adventures. From start to finish, the experience exceeded every expectation. Our guide was not only deeply knowledgeable about the park’s geology, history, flora, and fauna, but also made everything engaging and easy to understand. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen — from iconic arches to hidden corners we never would have found on our own. A highlight of the day was the gourmet picnic lunch, beautifully prepared and enjoyed in a stunning, quiet setting surrounded by red rock views. It was such a treat after a morning of exploring! We also really appreciated that our guide is certified in the Leave No Trace Seven Principles — it showed in how respectfully they approached the land and how they encouraged us to do the same. This tour gave us a much deeper appreciation for the beauty and fragility of Arches. If you want an unforgettable, personalized, and truly educational experience in the park, I can’t recommend Alex and Good Country adventures enough.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with Alex! We're thrilled to hear that the tour exceeded your expectations and that you appreciated the knowledgeable guidance, thoughtfully chosen stops, and gourmet picnic lunch. We’re proud that our commitment to Leave No Trace Principles resonated with you. Your kind words motivate us to continue providing personalized, educational, and memorable adventures in Arches National Park. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable journey with Good Trip Adventures soon!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Arches Full Day Private Tour & Hike: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moab.
How much does Arches Full Day Private Tour & Hike cost?
+
Prices start at $973 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moab usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Arches Full Day Private Tour & Hike take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moab is not rushed.
Is Arches Full Day Private Tour & Hike worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 52 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moab, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Arches Full Day Private Tour & Hike?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Arches Full Day Private Tour & Hike suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Arches Full Day Private Tour & Hike?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moab can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moab and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Arches Full Day Private Tour & Hike start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moab within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Moab?
+
Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands: sunrise arch tours, 4x4 runs on Hell's Revenge, Colorado River rafting, canyoneering and dark-sky stargazing. Park entry timing systems change often, so we weight tours that handle reservations for you. On Outty we rank every Moab experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HIGHLY RATED U-DRIVE Moab Hell’s Revenge UTV Off-Road Adventure, BEST! Hell's Revenge U-Drive 4X4 Tour in Moab +Dinosaur Tracks!, 5-STAR Moab Hell's Revenge UTV U-DRIVE TOUR + DINO TRACKS. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Moab?
+
April to May and September to October, avoiding peak summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Moab?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
