Exceptional Experience but Not Great for Single Women Traveling Alone

Exceptional atmosphere and staff. The staff walked around and kept a pretty good eye on things, but being a female alone and having a large group of loud men come sit all aprons you in a bath while laughing and speaking a different language was not comfortable and a few times I and other single women had to switch places. I recommend going with someone. Aside from that, the experience was unlike any other and is highly recommend it!

Response from the operator: Dear Jessica, Thank you so much for your feedback and for highlighting the exceptional atmosphere and service provided by our team. We’re truly glad to know that your overall experience was unique and memorable. Regarding your concern about the behavior of other guests, we take all feedback seriously. Maintaining a safe and peaceful environment is essential to providing a relaxing space for everyone. We will review this with our staff to ensure consistent application of our standards for respectful conduct in all cases. We hope to welcome you again soon, whether alone or with company, so you can enjoy our peaceful ambiance in the best possible conditions. Best regards.

It is no longer what it was

What a shame to see what the haman has become. I hadn't been there for about 8 years. Some friends gave me the experience with a 60-minute massage included. I went this June 2024 and from the welcome you can already imagine what it is going to be like. It is quite overcrowded, they take all the space out of it and more. The hygiene measures leave a lot to be desired, they no longer give you flip flops to move around the space while the staff does wear them. Since I had a longer massage than usual I was able to see the shift change and the only thing they pass is a dirty mop just to dry the stairs. At the time of the massage they put you in a small space with 2 other people, so you forget to relax because people don't stop coming and going. They smear you with oil that is not absorbed by the skin in 60 minutes. The worst massage I've ever had in my life. While I was on my back I saw a couple of cockroaches on the walls. And after the oily massage they let you get back into the water, leaving behind a mess that is quite disgusting.

Arabian Baths and 60 min massage at Madrid's Hammam Al Ándalus: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.

How much does Arabian Baths and 60 min massage at Madrid's Hammam Al Ándalus cost?

    +

Prices start at $148 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Arabian Baths and 60 min massage at Madrid's Hammam Al Ándalus take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.

Is Arabian Baths and 60 min massage at Madrid's Hammam Al Ándalus worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 39 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Arabian Baths and 60 min massage at Madrid's Hammam Al Ándalus?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Arabian Baths and 60 min massage at Madrid's Hammam Al Ándalus suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Arabian Baths and 60 min massage at Madrid's Hammam Al Ándalus?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Arabian Baths and 60 min massage at Madrid's Hammam Al Ándalus start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Madrid?

    +

On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Tapas & Wine Tour with Rooftop Views and Local Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Madrid?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Madrid?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What happens to Arabian Baths and 60 min massage at Madrid's Hammam Al Ándalus if the weather is bad?

    +

It generally runs rain or shine, so dress for the forecast in Madrid. Standard cancellation terms apply.
