I highly recommend!
I cannot recommend enough! Dipendra was so wonderful, helpful and trustworthy in organizing everything - I highly doubt you can find a better price or quality anywhere. Him and Shiva even helped me get a rabies shot I needed in Kathmandu before heading on the trek. Shiva was the best guide I could have hoped for, so good at his job, so funny, so sweet! I felt so taken care of the entire time. The views were incredible, the hikes gorgeous and it really was the experience of a lifetime! I am so grateful I chose khangsar guesthouse to stay because it led me to this! Thank you so much dipendra and shiva, you were so wonderful!

Annapurna Base Camp
We had an incredible experience with Nepal Horizon during our Annapurna Base Camp trek, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, Khem. Khem was extremely friendly, attentive, and always made sure we were doing well throughout the journey. Whenever we needed help, he was there without hesitation, and he constantly checked that everything was going smoothly. His kindness and professionalism made us feel safe and supported at all times. Before the trip, Nepal Horizon was very flexible and understanding during the planning process. They clearly explained all the costs and gave us a detailed overview of the itinerary we would follow, which helped us feel confident and well prepared before departure. Thanks to Khem and Nepal Horizon, we were able to live the experience of a lifetime. The trek itself was absolutely stunning, every day brought breathtaking views and unforgettable moments. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better guide or company. Highly recommended!

Amazing trekking experience with a kind and reliable guide
We had a wonderful 3-day trek to Poon Hill, and it was all thanks to our guide, Kumar. He was very kind, patient, and always made sure we were safe and comfortable throughout the journey. The first day was quite challenging with many stairs, but he adjusted the pace to match us and encouraged us along the way. We really appreciated how he paid attention to our condition and made us feel at ease. Even when we got tired on the way down, he handled everything calmly and helped us arrange transportation smoothly. Thanks to him, we were able to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery and complete the trek with great memories. We truly recommend him to anyone visiting Nepal!

Fascinating Trekking with the Best Guide
We did a 3-day Ghorepani–Poon Hill trek with Kumar, and it was one of the best parts of our honeymoon. He was kind, knowledgeable, and really took care of us as beginners—always setting a comfortable pace and keeping us motivated. When my wife had some trouble with her leg, he quickly arranged a jeep, which we really appreciated. The views, sunrise, and food were all amazing, but what made the trip special was Kumar. If we come back to Nepal, we’d definitely go with him again.

Why this scores 81
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Annapurna Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Annapurna Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking cost?
+
Prices start at $400 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Annapurna Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking take?
+
Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Annapurna Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Annapurna Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 192-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Annapurna Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Annapurna Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
