Highly recommend Nepal social treks!

We did the Annapurna circuit trek with Bishnu as our guide and Nabin and Suman as our porters. It was an incredible experience, amazing views and rewarding trekking getting to experience the nepalese culture along with way. Bishnu was very knowledgeable about the mountains, preventing altitude sickness, and was always there to help us with our crampons, poles, or anything else we needed. We were very well fed/ fuelled and he kept us laughing along the way with his funny sayings. We were always in accommodation with amazing views too. Nabin and Suman our porters, hard to summarise how incredibly hard they both work all while always having a smile on their face. We could not have done the Trek without them and are forever grateful for how hard they work. Definitely recommend going with nepal social treks it was an incredible experience.

Response from the operator: Dear Alicia, Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience! 10/10 experience with Nepal Social Treks

My sister & I just completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Nepal Social Treks, our guide was Bishnu. He was absolutely incredible and planned everything perfectly for us. Made sure we were extremely well fed always, to have energy for the trek & acclimatised us so we did not have altitude sickness over the trek. He made it so fun, we were singing, dancing, and having a great time while we were on the tour. Also special shout out to our porters Nobin & Sumon. They were absolutely incredible and the strongest, sweetest & happiest guys. Overall it was a 10/10 experience and I would definitely use this company again for any future Nepal treks.

Great experience on the Annapurna Circuit!

My partner and I did a private trek on the Annapurna Circuit and had an amazing time. A huge thanks to our guide Ashut and our porter Tirtha—they were a fantastic team and took excellent care of us. Everything was handled very professionally, and we felt like we were in great hands the whole way. Ashut shared so much knowledge about Nepal and the local culture. He also monitored our health closely, ensuring we were well-prepared to make it over the Thorung La Pass safely. The food and accommodations were lovely, and our guide always made sure we got the best rooms available in the teahouses. All transport was perfectly organized and smooth. It was a wonderful, exciting trip and we’d definitely recommend trekking with these guys! We will definitly be back!

Response from the operator: Dear Lucia, Thank you so much for your kind words! We're really happy to hear you had such an amazing experience on the Annapurna Circuit. Achyut and Tirtha will be thrilled to know they made your journey special. It means a lot that you felt well cared for and enjoyed every part of the trip. We’d love to welcome you back for another adventure in the future. Warm regards,

I am very grateful for the help of our guide Hari, porter Shiva, and Samraz during this trip. We had a great time interacting like friends, and the whole experience was excellent. The scenery along the way was beautiful. When I felt unwell in the mountains, the guide took great care of me. Thank you also to my fellow travelers for looking after me. This trip was made possible by everyone's efforts; each and every one of you was indispensable.

Response from the operator: Thank you for trusting us with your adventure. We are so happy that Hari, Shiva, and Samraz took such good care of you. We truly appreciate your appreciation of the team's effort and hope to trek with you again soon.

Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek cost?

+

Prices start at $830 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek take?

+

Plan for about 312 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 312-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek?

+

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 312-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
