Annapurna Circuit Trek is the classical trekking route of Nepal. Normally, the trip is the detour route of Nepal Trekking, which requires 10–17 days. However, if you are short on time, you can do the trek in much fewer days as well. After lots of field research, travel planners at Nepal High Trek have knitted the Annapurna Circuit Trek 10-day itinerary. The itinerary is perfect for travelers without much risk of altitude sickness or hours of walking. Moreover, the construction of a hilly road from Besisahar to Manang has helped in knitting the short itinerary of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Can I use a Jeep to Manang to further shorten the number of trekking days? No, it is not appropriate to take a Jeep beyond Chame. However, it is possible to use the four-wheel jeep to reach Manang. The risk of altitude sickness is very high if we take a jeep ride to Manang.

    Annapurna with Nepal High Trek!

We had the BEST time on the Annapurna Circuit with our guide Kipa from Nepal High Trek. Kipa was so knowledgeable, helpful, and kind, and he made our trek unforgettable in the most amazing way. Nepal High Trek helped adjust our trip when the Manaslu Circuit was inaccessible, and every staff member and guide we interacted with were wonderful. If we have the opportunity to come back to Nepal for another trek, we would book with Nepal High Trek and Kipa again! Thank you for everything!!!

Response from the operator: Dear Gretap, We highly appreciate your excellent review on TripAdvisor and thank you so much for sharing an unforgettable experience with us. Annapurna Circuit Trek

Originally we booked the Manaslu circuit but due to a bridge being taken out we were unable to continue. Anjan, Suman, and the team at Nepal high trek had us on a jeep to the Annapurna circuit the next day. The professionalism and ease of travel that they provided were top tier. Throughout our entire journey Suman was incredibly helpful, profesional, and an absolute joy to be guided by. The value for money and overall experience was perfect. Don’t look anywhere else, book with Nepal High Trek and I guarantee your journey will be amazing!!

    8-Day Annapurna Circuit with Nabin

My partner and I recently completed a 8-day trek along the Annapurna Circuit from Upper Pisang to Marpha, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! A massive part of what made this trip so special was our wonderful Nepalese guide, Nabin Kumar Waiba. Nabin’s bubbly personality created a great group dynamic on the trail and on the road, he provided cultural insights, warm hospitality, and endless entertainment. Beyond being great company, Nabin took the health and safety of our group seriously. He was always quick to point out risky sections of the trail and was extremely attentive and caring whenever acclimatization issues popped up. We couldn't recommend him more highly! The logistics were completely seamless from start to finish. All transport between towns, as well as our airport pickups and drop-offs, were organized to perfection. Every guest house we stayed at along the trek had everything we needed—quality food, showers, comfortable cabins, Wi-Fi and communal areas to relax. If you're planning a trek in Nepal, ask for Nabin, you'll be in the best possible hands!

    Perfect from start to end

If you are like me 6 months ago you are probably trawling through the endless number of guide companies offering treks in Nepal. Stop. Just go with Nepal High Trek. I literally can’t fault my experience with them. 1. When the devastating floods hit Nepal, Anjan communicated openly and frequently about the safety of our trip. He was flexible the entire time with our specific plans too (like needing an extra night at the end). 2. Our guide Suman picked us up late at night from the airport and organised all of the logistics making it very relaxed for us 3. After a landslide took out a bridge on the Manaslu Circuit, Suman quickly had us in a car on the way to the Annapurna Circuit instead. The company even covered the additional costs, they easily could have asked us to pay 4. If you get Suman as your guide you could not be luckier. He was professional but also good fun the entire time. However, we also saw other Nepal High Trek groups on the trail and meeting their guides showed that I think you’re gonna have a great time with any of them. They were all super experienced and good fun to chat to. Stop looking. You’ve found what you’re looking for. A company that is going to make your Nepal trip exactly how you want it to be. I actually can’t recommend them enough.

Annapurna Circuit Trek: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Annapurna Circuit Trek cost?

    +

Prices start at $975 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Annapurna Circuit Trek take?

    +

Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Annapurna Circuit Trek worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 59 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Circuit Trek?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Annapurna Circuit Trek suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 288-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Annapurna Circuit Trek?

    +

Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Annapurna Circuit Trek start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Annapurna Circuit Trek?

    +
