Walk through lush forests, mountain villages, rivers, and traditional Gurung settlements before reaching Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 m (13,550 ft). Enjoy breathtaking views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Gangapurna, Hiunchuli, Baraha Shikhar, and surrounding peaks. Shorter and generally more accessible than the Everest Base Camp Trek, this journey combines spectacular Himalayan scenery with the rich culture of the Annapurna region. The itinerary can be customized according to your preferences, including flights between Kathmandu and Pokhara to save travel time. You can also add an extra day in Pokhara to relax and explore Phewa Lake, viewpoints, caves, waterfalls, and other attractions.

Ghandruk
Your 9-day Annapurna Base Camp Trek begins with an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The scenic journey follows winding mountain roads alongside rivers, green hills, terraced farmland, and traditional villages. After reaching Pokhara, continue by road toward Ghandruk, one of the most beautiful Gurung villages in the Annapurna region. Upon arrival, check into your teahouse and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings.
Pass by without stopping
After breakfast, begin your first day of trekking toward Chhomrong. The trail passes through beautiful forests, terraced hillsides, and traditional settlements. You will gradually gain altitude while enjoying views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). After reaching Chhomrong, settle into your teahouse and enjoy the impressive mountain scenery.

Today, descend toward the Chhomrong Khola before climbing through dense rhododendron and bamboo forests. The trail passes through Sinuwa, Bamboo, and other small settlements as you continue deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary. The surroundings become increasingly rugged and mountainous as you approach Dovan.

Continue your journey through the beautiful Annapurna Sanctuary toward Deurali. The trail climbs steadily through bamboo, rhododendron, and alpine vegetation. Today is the highlight of your Annapurna Base Camp adventure. Start early from Deurali and follow the trail through the narrow mountain valley toward Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). From MBC, continue toward Annapurna Base Camp as the surrounding peaks become increasingly spectacular. After reaching Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 m, take time to explore the sanctuary and admire the panoramic views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre, and other Himalayan peaks. Enjoy the unforgettable sunset or evening atmosphere at the base camp before spending the night there.

Wake up early to witness the sunrise illuminating the surrounding Himalayan peaks. After breakfast, begin your descent from Annapurna Base Camp. Retrace the trail through Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Deurali, Himalaya, and Dovan before continuing toward Bamboo. Although today's trail is mostly downhill, the long descent can be demanding on your knees, so take your time and enjoy the changing landscapes as you move from the alpine environment back into the forest.

After breakfast, continue your descent toward Jhinu Danda. The trail passes through lush forests and familiar villages before reaching Jhinu. Once you arrive, you can relax at the teahouse or visit the Jhinu natural hot springs, located a short walk from the village. Today, your trekking adventure comes to an end. After breakfast, take a local/private vehicle from Jhinu Danda toward Pokhara. The journey takes you through beautiful mountain roads, villages, and green hills. After reaching Pokhara, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. You can explore Phewa Lake, Lakeside Pokhara, visit local attractions, or simply rest after completing the trek.

After breakfast, drive from Pokhara back to Kathmandu. The scenic journey follows the Prithvi Highway alongside rivers, hills, terraced farmland, and rural settlements. Once in a lifetime. You won’t regret it.
This was one of the best experiences of my life. I arrived to Kathmandu with no plans and Jiban and the Adventure Visions crew listened carefully to me to get an understanding of the exact experience I was looking for. They chose the perfect trek for me, and customized it to fit what I was looking for as a photographer. It was a once in a lifetime experience. The communication was amazing, and everyone I interacted with was amazing as well. I’m already planning my return trip back next year

Annapurna Base Camp with Milan
The best experience of my life, trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in the Himalayas! Doing this with my boyfriend was a special thing to share. The views of the snow crusted peaks were stunning, walking through quaint little villages, staying in cosy tea houses and eating local food. The whole experience was enhanced by our guide Milan, he was the best. So professional and friendly, made sure we happy throughout the trip and looked after our safety in the trickier snowy sections. We all had the best time working hard to get up and down the mountain and having a laugh at the same time. Thank you Milan! Would recommend to anyone who wants to make a memory for a lifetime!

ABC trek with Milan!
Absolutely insane experience! If you are in Nepal, this trek is a must, especially with this company. It’s hard work but very rewarding. Milan, our guide was the best. He’s very easy going, professional and a great laugh. Helped us along the whole way and was very informative. 10/10 would recommend!

2 seniors trekking in Annapurna.
We took the deluxe package. Except for the haze on the first 3 days we had amazing views from the 4th day onwards. We had a very good guide Akal and our porter Ram was very friendly and helpful. The facilities in base camp was limited but more than compensated by the morning view of the Annapurna range. Jiban the agent was very influential in helping us to get the last flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Kudos to him. I will recommend Adventure Vision.

Great trekking team and organisation
Wow , wow and wow! This team were awesome. Nothing was too much trouble for Jiban, communication was instant and accommodating and fun. Our guide Tony and his team of Tyson and Anuz were terrific. I learned so much about perseverance and patience from this team who seemed to know when to step in an lead ‘slowly slowly’ and when to leave me to my 65 year old pace and to do all this unobtrusively. Best of all I made it to the top with my family and team and had a wonderful adventure and experience .
