About this experience

Six days, straight to Base Camp, no Poon Hill side trip padding out the itinerary. This route suits people who know exactly what they came for and would rather not spend extra days getting there. Day one is mostly a drive now, the road has crept further into the Ghandruk hills than it used to, so real walking kicks off day two. From there you climb into Chhomrong, gateway to the Sanctuary, then follow the Modi Khola through Bamboo and Dovan to Himalaya. Day four is what you came for, above the treeline, past Machhapuchhre Base Camp, into Annapurna Base Camp itself, with Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre close enough to feel real. Jhinu Danda hot springs catch you on the way down, a good excuse to sit still before the drive back to Pokhara. Worth knowing going in: no acclimatization day built into this pace, and day four climbs higher, faster, than usually recommended above 3,000m.

awesome trip Everest flight and Poonhill trek

i made this awesome trip Everest flight and Poonhill trek with my group of friends in 10 days vacation in Nepal organized by mountain hike Nepal. We all had fun and exciting time in Poonhill trek. Experience world tallest mountain via flight and trek to Poonhill 3200m was not easy and not so hard as well. Everything went smoothly and efficiently. Thanks to our guide and porters for making it memorable. Recommendable trip and company to travellers.

Response from the operator: Dear Elena Thanks for leaving us such a wonderful review. We are thrilled that you loved your experience; our staff will definitely be happy to read what you wrote. Is Annapurna Base Camp in 6 Days worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Base Camp in 6 Days?

+

Is Annapurna Base Camp in 6 Days suitable for kids and families?

+

How far in advance should I book Annapurna Base Camp in 6 Days?

+

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Annapurna Base Camp in 6 Days start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Pokhara?

+

On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Pokhara?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Pokhara?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
