What you'll see and do
Angkor Wat
You will be picked up from your hotel between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. (depending on your hotel location) to visit Angkor Wat. Travel to the ticket office takes about 15 to 30 minutes. After purchasing your ticket, it will take another 15 minutes to reach Angkor Wat. then arrive at the western part of Angkor Wat by crossing the floating bridge and will enjoy surrounding at dawn to reach the pond inside the Angkor Wat complex. After arriving at the pond, we will stand and watch the beautiful sky above Angkor Wat before the sun goes up. We will then take about two hours to visit some of the other areas of Angkor Wat, where you will see statues, bas-relief, libraries, and other parts of the central tower. After visiting Angkor Wat, we will take about 35 to 45 minutes for breakfast.

Ta Prohm
Move on to the jungle-enveloped Ta Prohm – one of the most atmospheric of all temples in Angkor. Once home to 2,740 monks, Ta Prohm today looks much as it did in the early 1850s, when French explorer Henri Mouhot ‘rediscovered’ this crumbling site. After exploring the maze-like interior of Ta Prohm, return to your hotel after a long but fulfilling day, which will leave you with a lifetime of memories of one of the wonders of the world. We end the tour and return to Siem Reap town and drop off at your hotel at 12:30PM to 1:30 PM depend on your hotel location.

Bayon Temple
Bayon temple is sufficiently compact to encourage any order of visit, particularly as the absence of a surrounding wall make it easy to enter the temple. The confusion of the inner enclosure, with its narrow chamber corridors and stairway, giving occasional surprise glimpses of the enigmatic faces, is itself a fascinating experience. You will learn from your tour guide a lot from your tour guide.

Great day tour in Siem Reap.
We did a sunrise tour of Angkor Wat along with Ta Prohm and Bayon temple. 4:40 am to 12:00pm. Our Tour guide Tann is very good. He explained history, culture and general information about Cambodia very well in English. Arrived on time to our hotel. Had cold towels and cold water after every stop for us as it’s quite warm here in Siem Reap. We also used same company for airport to hotel transfer. They contacted over WhatsApp and Tann was there when our flight arrived late. We will highly recommend them.
Response from the operator: Dear Manish V, Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your sunrise tour of Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, and Bayon Temple. Exploring these iconic sites during the early hours is truly magical, and we’re glad Tann could make it even more memorable with his excellent explanations of Cambodia’s history and culture. We’re also pleased to know you appreciated the little touches, like the cold towels and water, which we prioritize to ensure your comfort in Siem Reap’s warm climate. It’s great to hear that your airport transfer went smoothly despite your flight delay and that our team was prompt and communicative throughout. Thank you for choosing us for both your tour and transfer needs. We hope to welcome you back for more adventures in the future! Best regards, Srey Rath

Ankor Wat Sunrise Tour
Tann was an excellent guide. He showed us around 3 temples (Ankor Wat, Bayon and Ta Phrom). He took us to the best spots to take photos of the sunrise (also took a lot of photos of our family). He also suggested another temple, Banteay Srei, which wasn't included in the original itinerary. We had a great experience.
Response from the operator: Dear Rishov d, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your tour of Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm, and that Tann’s guidance made a positive impact on your visit. It’s wonderful to know that the sunrise photo spots and the additional visit to Banteay Srei added to your experience. We’re grateful you chose us for your journey through these incredible sites. We hope to welcome you back for more memorable adventures in the future! Warm regards, Srey Rath

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Full Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Full Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $19 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Full Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Full Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Full Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Full Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Full Day Tour?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Angkor Wat Sunrise Private Full Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
