Fantastic tour with attentive and informative service highly recommended!
Excellent tour of the major temples from start to finish. Picked up in large comfortable van with driver and guide Pat. Provided waters and ice cold towels on the tour and really enjoyed Pats personality and explanation of Cambodias history. I felt the attention and enthusiasm given on the tour was 10/10

The Perfect complement to the small circuit tours
We had two days in Siem Reap, so we took a small bus tour of the Angkor Wat “small circuit” and enjoyed it. We knew that there was another “grand circuit” of temples, so we decided to do a personal tour of these temples by Angkor Doors. It was only $20 AUS more and we had a personal guide, driver and tuk tuk. A good move! Our guide, Bunpheng, was very knowledgeable. We experienced different temples to the other tour: these were generally the early temple sites of the 10th to 12th century: Phimeanakas, Preah Palilay, Preah Khan, Banteay Prei, Neak Poan, Ta Som, East Mebon, Pre Rup and Srah Srang. These temples are spectacular and are an important part of the site’s development… but they do not attract the huge crowds like Angkor Wat or Bayon Temple, so the experience is peaceful and contemplative. Bunpheng is a mine of historical information. We learnt so much about Buddhist and Hindu culture and enjoyed the open air experience of tuk tuk travel. Yes, by all means, do the “small circuit“ tour of the most famous temples. But set aside a day to visit this other circuit. It is the perfect completion of the history of this unique and amazing 350 square kilometre historic site, unlike ANY other place in the world. And Bunpheng is the ideal person to bring it to life.
Response from the operator: Dear Robert, We are thankful for your time to leave as a review to share your experience touring with us. We are thrilled to hear that you have enjoyed TukTuk ride to travel to the temples. Thank you for learning our history of the temples and Cambodia. Best regards Angkor Doors Team

Would recommend for families!
We had wonderful tours with Pal Chen, who is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his country's history. We traveled with another family, between us was a 4 year old, 5 year old, and 3 month old baby. Because of this, the tour company graciously arranged two half day custom tours (the kids can't do full days!). Pal Chen was very patient and accommodating to our kids. He also knew exactly how to avoid the crowds, and helped us find all the best photo spots! We were provided lots of cold water and the pickups were on time and comfortable. We had a great time in Siem Reap thanks to Pal Chen and his tour company.
Response from the operator: Hello Joes, Thank you for your review! We're delighted to hear that you had wonderful tours with Pal Chen, who demonstrated great knowledge and enthusiasm for his country's history. We understand the unique needs of your group, including the young children and baby, and our tour company was happy to arrange two half-day custom tours to accommodate them. Pal Chen's patience and flexibility in catering to the kids were greatly appreciated. We're glad that you were provided with plenty of cold water and that the pickups were punctual and comfortable. It's fantastic to know that you had a great time in Siem Reap, all thanks to Pal Chen and our tour company. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future! Wonderful experience with Angkor doors
We had the most amazing 3 days with Bunpheng! We had originally booked one day with him, but soon changed that to 3! We spent 2 days in Angkor Wat and a day in Kampong Phluk. Bunpheng was the perfect guide. He knew so much and answered every question we had for him! He tailored the excursions perfectly for our family. For 3 days Bunpheng was the most wonderfully fun and fantastically well informed member of our family!
Response from the operator: Hello Karl, Thank you for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you had an amazing 3 days with Bunpheng. It's fantastic that you extended your initial booking to spend more time with him. Bunpheng's extensive knowledge and ability to answer all your questions made him the perfect guide. We're glad to know that he tailored the excursions perfectly to suit your family. It sounds like Bunpheng became an integral part of your family, providing a fun and informative experience throughout the 3 days. Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Angkor Wat Small Circuit Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does Angkor Wat Small Circuit Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $13 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Angkor Wat Small Circuit Tour take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is Angkor Wat Small Circuit Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Angkor Wat Small Circuit Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Angkor Wat Small Circuit Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Angkor Wat Small Circuit Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Angkor Wat Small Circuit Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
