    Must go for connecting romantically.

It was a very nice romantic ride out. They kept the drinks flowing, music was nice, saxophone not the best but wasn't bad. My wife loved the slow dance at the end when the captain told everyone to get up and dance. Well worth a trip with your significant other. Food was good, steak well seasoned, garlic butter for the lobster.

An enjoyable evening as long as you have a strong back!

The drinks and food were very good. The ship was nice and interesting to be honest. I was pleased that they had some interesting tables that we were able to use so we could eat. Everyone on the ship was very nice. Also, I did not think the ship was over-crowded. Unfortunately there were two things I wasn't fond of - first, if you were not one of the first people to get on the ship the only place to sit was on the edge of the roof of the top deck of the ship. There was no back rest to lean against. The length of the trip was pretty long (a couple hours) and I got tired of sitting on the edge without a backrest. However, it got a little better when the food was served because I could then lean forward against the table. The second thing I didn't like was that they took pictures of us on the ship when we were getting on and during the trip. Of course, they printed some off and sold those pictures to all the passengers. I just really dislike stuff like this with the sales pressure. I understand we don't have to buy the pictures, but there is always that pressure which stinks. Overall it was an enjoyable evening.

    Great food and fun...

Great food and fun atmosphere. It was a rainy day so time up on deck was a little limited but was still fun with a beautiful sunset. The staff did comment quite a lot about the fact my husband and I brought our teenage kiddos but hey I paid for the tickets! Also, I did think the food was quite good.

    Don't go for the food.

The experience was really cool, however we are foodies and the food was terrible. We were not asked how we wanted our steak cooked, it came well done. I eat medium rare. It was bland and lacking any flavor. Very disappointed. But the music was awesome and the host was pleasant.

Response from the operator: Hello Delores, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the music and that the host helped create a pleasant atmosphere during the evening. We are sorry to learn that the food did not meet your expectations. Your feedback regarding the preparation of the steak and the flavor of the meal is very important to us, and we will be sure to share your comments with our culinary team so they can review and improve this aspect of the experience. We truly appreciate your comments and thank you again for joining us.

Amazing Romantic Dinner on a Spanish Galeon with Saxophone Music: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.

How much does Amazing Romantic Dinner on a Spanish Galeon with Saxophone Music cost?

    +

Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Amazing Romantic Dinner on a Spanish Galeon with Saxophone Music take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.

Is Amazing Romantic Dinner on a Spanish Galeon with Saxophone Music worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 110 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Amazing Romantic Dinner on a Spanish Galeon with Saxophone Music?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Amazing Romantic Dinner on a Spanish Galeon with Saxophone Music suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Amazing Romantic Dinner on a Spanish Galeon with Saxophone Music?

    +

Around 39 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Amazing Romantic Dinner on a Spanish Galeon with Saxophone Music start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tulum?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tulum?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tulum?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
