    Super

The experience itself was spectacular and the driver and guide were friendly and kind. Everything from the pick up to the drop off was great. It was well worth the experience and I strongly recommend it for others.

We signed up for this to...

We signed up for this to mainly see Coba since we had already been to Tulum. It was not until a half hour on the bus that we were told Coba would be out due to closure. Instead we would go to a Mayan village. It was some guy praying over us and the kids playing the log dump and other home made instruments. Charming but not what we signed up for and a very long bus ride foit. Lunch was good but still most of the day on a bus for very little. Kn

Response from the operator: Hi Kevin, thank you so much for your comments. We recommend our visitors to visit the official website of the archaeological site of Coba, in that page you can see that Coba is open intermittently, and this is because they are working on the maintenance of the archaeological site constantly, that situation is out of our control, but we look for other options in the Riviera Maya in order to give you the best experience of the Mexican Caribbean. We appreciate your understanding, have a nice day.

    Excursion with Dream Tour

Honestly, I think the excursion is worth it though it is imperative to book with a company other than Dream Tour. We had to spend two hours in Tulum with a guide, we stayed there for 40 min and were not given a guide.

Response from the operator: Bonjour, nous apprécions votre commentaire mais nous ne sommes pas Dream Tour, nous sommes Coba Tulum Tour Operator, nous savons qu'il y a d'autres compagnies qui essaient de faire correspondre notre tour, nous vous invitons à faire une de nos excursions lors de votre prochaine visite à la destination afin que vous puissiez Vérifiez notre excellent service. Great trip

The tour leader picked us up at our resort which was nice. I liked Tulum and Coba, we got to walk around and Julio our guide explained the difference between Tulum and Chichen Itza. At Coba we took a tricycle up to the pyramids and the driver pointed out different places along the route. We ended the day at Playa del Carmen where we got to shop or eat. It was a well spent day.

Response from the operator: Hello dear traveler! Thank you so much for your comments. We are committed to give you an exciting and extreme experience and we are glad to know you enjoyed it! We hope we can see you back soon!

    Excellent tour agency & guides

Brilliant tour. All involved including drivers and guides are full of knowledge & enthusiasm about ancient culture. Very interesting! Locations visited were stunning! The stories the guide told were so fascinating, the passion is so brilliant! The tour agency is brilliant also, we are beyond thankful for being accommodated for last minute cancellation and re-scheduling due to illness! I wish I could say that the last shopping stop in the tequila factory was unnecessary as the whole group was tired and this was obviously a sales pitch, but we cant even say that because we got ourselves sorted for all the holiday souvenirs and gifts at that stop over so that was brilliant!! Would highly highly recommend!!

Response from the operator: Hello Keith! Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We appreciate your support. We are so glad you had an amazing time with us. Hope to see you again next time you are visiting the Mexican Caribbean!

Amazing Tour 4X1 to Coba, Tulum, Cenote & Playa del Carmen: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.

How much does Amazing Tour 4X1 to Coba, Tulum, Cenote & Playa del Carmen cost?

    +

Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Amazing Tour 4X1 to Coba, Tulum, Cenote & Playa del Carmen take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.

Is Amazing Tour 4X1 to Coba, Tulum, Cenote & Playa del Carmen worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Amazing Tour 4X1 to Coba, Tulum, Cenote & Playa del Carmen?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Amazing Tour 4X1 to Coba, Tulum, Cenote & Playa del Carmen suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Amazing Tour 4X1 to Coba, Tulum, Cenote & Playa del Carmen?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Amazing Tour 4X1 to Coba, Tulum, Cenote & Playa del Carmen start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tulum?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tulum?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tulum?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
